Steam probably should make it more clear somehow that other games in a franchise are on sale. There are surprisingly many people who don't notice it when something like Assassin's Creed Unity is on sale it also probably means that the older games are on sale.
Didn't they use to say "Franchise Sale" over the tapestry square? Don't know why they stopped.

Okay, that's 20 pages. There's more, but you get the picture
Orivon is a dick and just bombed me with titans quest gold because I lost my copy with direct2drive went under.
You terrible, wonderful man
For a bit of backstory on this, I was playing the base game of Titan Quest when Buttcleft messaged me, asking if I had the expansion. I said that I did and he told me to stop wasting my time and play that. I had originally thought that the expansion was stand-alone and I should finish the base game first. Turns out I was completely wrong and the expansion starts you at the beginning of the game and adds improvements to the whole game. Luckily, I was able to import the character I made and blow past the areas I had already gone through. Because of all that I wanted to send Buttcleft a gift to say thanks.
Of course, it seems that @Buttcleft couldn't let me just gift him.
Thanks for this! I've heard a lot of good things about Triple Triad and am excited about experiencing it first hand.
Hexcells looks too much like Minesweeper, which I suck at so hard. Puzzles are more her thing (though I do enjoy a good puzzle now and then); I prefer things I can hack and slash in RPG or spectacle style until dead.
If she enjoys Minesweeper, she'll love Hexcells because it's never necessary to guess. They're pre-made levels, and at every stage there is always a valid move to make based off pure logic.
I'm sure she doesn't need more games to add to the backlog.
But she loves Minesweeper, yes. I'll suggest it when she gets home.

Now that people have had time to play it, how's the performance on Ground Zeroes? Will I be okay with a 660Ti and a slightly-old-but-still-good 6 core AMD processor (around 3.2 Ghz, IIRC)? Running it on full settings isn't important, just as long as I can get a decent framerate and have it not look like butts.
Thank you so very much to @HyphyKezzy for Back to Sleep!
Another huge thanks to @CorriganX for another awesome item in GW2 that will help me to combat my overstuffed inventory (my greatest nemesis in that game)!
Finally, whenever YNaB goes on sale, I usually write a near-novel of a post talking about how much I like it. Enough people have it now that they've already taken care of that. So, just consider me adding a voice to the chorus of how great it is. (I was not living paycheck-to-paycheck before using it, but it's still been a great help.) If you get it, consider taking some of their free classes that teach you how to use it. It'll help you to get the most out of the program. (They do give away a free copy at the end of each class, too, so if you can't afford the program, you have a small chance to win one.)
I should have a look at some of their classes. I need to move past balancing at the end of the pay period and really getting at least one paycheque ahead. How long do the classes usually run for?
If I remember correctly, the classes were usually 45 minutes to an hour. I think they were a little less than an hour with time for individual questions. Here's a link to the page with the classes. There's also a page with recorded classes and other materials you can look at. It's not loading properly for me right now (maybe there are too many people trying to use the site right now), but the main support site should have a link to it.
Edit: I'd definitely recommend the credit card class. I didn't find the way the program deals with cards to be terribly intuitive.
So that's a wrap on the sale, huh? All in all, it was pretty "meh." I think they put everything into the gem auction thing that I didn't really participate in, on account of having not even 2,000 gems.
Thank you to @Antoshka for Half Life: Source, the only Half Life I didn't have because for some reason I didn't get it when I bought HL2 at launch, and Thank you to @Sumanai for The Witcher 1 on steam so now I can collect all the pretty cards and achievements! And @Isorn for English Country Tune for no darn reason at all, what a monster. You guys rock.
Nuuvem has AVP2010 for around the buck mark and I figured for that price it was worth jumping on while I could. But for some reason I can't create an account or even log in through FB or Twitter and I have no clue why. Can anyone help?
My Portuguese isn't great but Google Translate helps... to a point.

Kojima sacrificed thousands of innocents to make the game run like it does.
Runs like frikken butter on my laptop, which does have an i7, but it's using a Radeon8600m which I bet is weaker than yours.

Might be blocking signups from your location. I use the email method.
Also thanks @HyphyKezzy for Back to Bed, which was sent to be, aptly, when I was sleeping. Gracias!

Yeah but I don't want any of those.
I hate to say it, but I've been really underwhelmed this sale, though I guess that's a good thing as I haven't been gaming as much lately.
But one of those is on your wishlist!
