While I think its a little shitty that they won't ever do it again if this happens to you, their recommendation for doing the Account Security is on point.
I honestly can't think of a way someone would be able to get into my Steam account, since I get an email any time an attempt is made from a new computer.

I actually think Exile is the best one overall.

    Revelations is the worst one.

It's frustrating that Ubisoft hasn't released them digitally.

Agree 100% with this, of the non-uru games Exile is 3rd best easily, and Revelations is worst by a mile.

    on the topic of Myst

I picked up realMyst: Masterpiece Edition last week

and I'm a little disconcerted. As far as I can tell, I finished it, but there's little to no indication to that effect.
I gave the Myst page to Artus

I went to Rime and aligned the crystals

I mean, I don't really think a credits sequence would fit the game, but ... it just feels like I'm missing something.

    Nope, you did everything.

Myst just has a really subdued/anticlimactic ending.

    Oh, cool. Thanks.

    Ok, so Depth.

Me and some UK guy both spawned as tiger sharks against a team of four divers.

We both chomped on them a little bit at first, but then they all consolidated in, watching each others backs and trying to get to a place sharks can't fit through.

We threw a couple of lives away charging in at them, then we went Alien style and started nabbing them one at a time from little cracks in the rocks then running away.

    Sharks won.

Riven added a lot more closure to the end-game than Myst did.

It also removed any of the hand-holding through the puzzles, and just expects you to figure out everything on your own. Part of the problem with this is that if you're ever stuck, you can't find a guide on what to do next, as parts of the game are randomized for every new file.

I had Steam Guard up when this happened and I continue to have it up.

Outside of more routine malware scans and the complete avoidance of suspicious messages from friends, I don't know what more I could do to stay secure.

Also I kind of want to jump on some multiplayer Euro Truck, if anyone else is interested.

Though, I also still need to complete the XMas gift deliveries.

sounds much more in tune with what I was expecting. I'll have to pick it up.

So how long does it take to do...a thing in euro trucker? Is it as sedate as it looks? Cause if so, I get the appeal, but it's just not for me now. If somehow it is condensed and satisfying, that I could into.

I might have to gift this to my father. If there's anyone I know who loves transport sims, driving around europe, and having a 2 year old cheering them on from their lap, it's my old man.

Sorry, I'm having a lot of trouble adding my radio streams back into the game for some reason. Can't haul cargo if I don't have my tunes.

Went from rank C to B in Ground Zeroes...I'll get that S, I'll get it...

Now this might sound silly to some, but I want to emphasize that I like the way the game uses controller vibration a lot. In most games, the feature is not interesting and actually annoying to me, so I turn it off most of the time, but it was used in cool ways here.

Really? I'm curious because I still own my guide for riven from way back when. I'm not sure what parts could have been randomized.

Also, decided I should finally grab borderlands, got the goty, as well as flight simulator X.

Well so far all I understand is that I am too old/slow/tired for that game right now.

It is CS obstacle course maps on crack.

Were there obstacle courses for like Q3 or UT2K? Like that maybe.

Well, for one, I know for a fact that the code that unlocks the books is randomized.
Aside from that, I believe that the islands' colors could be, as well as the actual numbering system. When I was done, I looked up the numbers and saw about 3-4 different sets of symbols for 1-24.

EDIT: I also think that the
code for unlocking the star fissure
    is as well.

@JayKaos‌ Thanks for the base in space! I would have responded sooner but I'm apparently on a space kick and had to take a nap while Elite Dangerous was installing.

I'll probably start with Spacebase because Elite scares me.

    I didn't say / mean that.

I have spent plenty of time in obstacle course maps in CS, and this way I don't have anyone screaming obscenities at me!

It seems fun, I just need to sit down in the middle of the day instead of at 1am to really be able to feign competence.

    I started playing Akrham Oranges

some of this feels... kinda half-baked

arkham city had a pretty dumb thing where they populated a gigantic section of the city with criminals, but it was at least explained by the game

I don't really get why every rooftop in gotham has criminals in it in Arkham origins

the entire thing feels kinda like a mod for arkham city, outside of the boss fights

it's like pretty much the exact same gameplay, but in slightly different areas and with less polish

it's also hard to read exactly what kind of enemy you're fighting: the broken bottle reskin of the knife is small enough that it can be hard to tell that an enemy is holding it until they start attacking you, and martial artists aren't especially distinctive (especially when compared to the ninjas from arkham city, who have a similar gimmick), especially if you're fighting them in NG+ where there's no counter indicators.

I don't know how the martial artists are depicted, as Steam won't let me buy anything at the moment, but this is what I used Batvision for exclusively in City.

Watching Weaver has confirmed my suspicions that like Goat Simulator, Depth is one of those games that are so obviously fun but would never be made by a larger company. This looks amazing.

It's a Goat and your control a goat in the spirit of misadventure. What else is there to know.
