High School kids don't care about knowledge! They care about 360 no scopes on CoD and the latest Madden game to come out!

    Jerry should have known this!

    Wow...

My christmas present to all the wonderful people at PA is the streaming tears of laughter caused by this comic.

    Enjoy them my friends.

I cringe because this is exactly how I was all throughout high school. This comic could just as easily be representative of me in a 10th grade Creative Writing class.

"Building the future and keeping the past alive are one in the same thing."

This is a great comic. I simultaneously feel like I would think he was a douchebag and also feel really bad for him since his gift probably had more thought put into it than anyone's.

So Jerry was the only one who knew where he was and what he was surrounded by. Sounds like the only person there worth time or effort.

There is some juicy insight coming from Jerry/Tycho's news post... Great comic too!

At least Gabe's "duck tail" seems to have disappeared.

I wouldn't have touched it because I played just enough AD&D in high school in the 90's to know better than to go messing with scrolls written by people unfamiliar to me.

That, and sweet, sweet candy from strangers. Mmmmm.

I like to think that even today, with 20 years of growth and experience behind him, Mike would still think "Holy shit. Look at this fucking douchebag." in that situation.

I think it's sad that they prefer candy and toys (with a great big sarcastic "duh, OBVIOUSLY") and that this guy thinks Jerry is a "Douchebag" for pointing that out. As another commenter pointed out, he probably put more thought into the gift.

"This guy" being Mike? You know, the guy who draws the comic?
