Looking into it a bit more, it looks like the prizes breakdown as follows…

1st - Free On Demand Event Entry + 40 Prize Tix
2nd - 40 Prize Tix
3rd-4th - 20 Prize Tix
5th-8th - 10 Prize Tix

It doesn't say that you get 40 with entry. I just wanted to clarify for anyone thinking of doing this. With that said, I might still be willing to do this with you @Happendy

After being up all night checking the Twitter Feed, The PA news Feed and the forums, I am really hoping that we get the South list released along the lines of the Carl and New Year pin and they drop it on us at 2pm PST time.

I'm falling asleep in front of the PC waiting for the this dang pin drop.

Some observations -

- Thats a new LE, shields are here to stay boys.
- The Trendy pin requires you to buy the game it looks like.... DD2 is $25 on steam right now so yikes
- This pretty much cements the Magic pin down now too

All in all, this is gonna be an expensive pax

I also wonder if any of them will also be at East since it is a little over a month away. A few of them go to East every year and while MTG pins are always exclusive to a PAX things like Iota and bandland pins seem to travel. I wonder if the sentinals pin will travel for instance.

Core set has a sheriff's badge rather than a South Logo. Maybe it's just me, but I really love having a pin with the logo on it. Makes it feel like a little embodiment of the show, so it's a shame not to see that there.

Anyway, that LE Polygon pin looks pretty cool. It's kind of an annoyance though that they're continuing the whole artificially limited thing with these pins. There have definitely already been enough headaches regarding limited things selling out recently (*cough*Majora's Mask n3DS*cough*amiibos). But I guess we'll see how it goes.

As Gabe has said he likes there being limited pins. It creates an experience when you get it. So they are likely to keep doing them instead of relying on vendors (who almost always make something rare based on how to get it *cough* WotC) to make rare pins.

Next year I assume. Just like Aus in 2013, they did a cool design and then jumped to the logo in 2014.

I feel underwhelmed just because there doesn't seem to be as much new as the two main PAX.

South set, LE South, Broodhollow. I might try to trade for a few cowboy Gabes. Maybe grab the Undead Lab pins since I wanted to check out Moonrise anyway.

I'm relieved that there aren't a ton of new pins. Prime felt frantic trying to get everything. I'm going with friends & it is their first PAX, so this will allow me to take it easy on them a bit.

Also really like most of the designs. I love the Davey Crockett Kemper.

It's the first PAX South, they can't just bombard new collectors who also want to get the staff pins as well.

lol, Prime did have a LOT of pins. Thankfully you could just straight-up buy some of them but... man. It was crazy.

Anyway, I agree. New collectors are already going to be running around and trying to get the bajillion staff pins. It's good that there's not a sea of new things to get this South.
