I was really hoping for an all-bosses run of Bloodborne

this no-patched any% sure does have a lot of loading screens and item duping

    They're letting the animals die...

That bid war raised over 300,000 dollars though, so they go for a good cause.

I do love the norfair first shenanigans. Varia suit? Who needs it? Just wow. And then for added insult he decides the gravity suit is useless too.

There's sequence breaks... and then there's RBO. (And unlike the LttP, this didn't rely on massive glitching)

I loved the ratchet and clank run, personally

just rewind a few minutes if you watch the vod, the runner and the guy on the couch explain some stuff before the run starts

Yeah I had to go to sleep right before the end of the first cycle of the MM run, but it was pretty impressive.

I've definitely got stuff to watch next week while working.

I just find Majoras Mask to be an awful awful game. I appreciate some of the tricks but can't watch it for a full run. It must be a nostalgia thing, kind of like FFVII was some folks first final fantasy.

    Age of Empires

EDIT: very happy that they got $1.2+m with no Humble Bundle. For a while it didn't even look like they were going to hit $1m, but the last day push was pretty substantial.

It's over for another 6 months. A high an low all at once. Well the live stream is over. Now I begin to catch up on the streams I slept through.

Stream ended with the announcement for the Summer Games Done Quick 2016 schedule: July 3rd through 9th.

They need to have Blechy and/or SpikeVegeta do all interview segments from now on. They're the only two that I've seen that actually look like they want to do it. All the other interviews I saw were just painfully awkward low energy affairs where everyone looked like they'd rather be doing something else.

I missed Studio doing those really badly :(

he's the best though, not sure what happened with him. SpikeVegeta tries too hard imo.

Yeah, SpikeVegeta definitely has a schtick going with the interviews, but at least he has a pulse. Golden (or however his handle is spelled) really gave off a "this is boring and I hate that I got roped into it" vibe, and the other guy (kind of middle eastern or Indian looking with glasses) also seemed bored.

Holy crap, that week flew by! My productivity was low but my enjoyment was quite high. So much killer stuff.

I'm thinking about taking a trip out to SGDQ, just to be there once for the fun.

The marathon is done! I will add recommended runs to the OP tomorrow, along with high-quality YouTube links when they are uploaded.

Also, if you are still on the fence about an AGDQ 2016 shirt, then you need to hurry! I have no idea when the Yetee pulls the plug on the marathon designs, but you don't have long.

Who's the little guy who did a few interviews? He also sat in on some of the runs. He did an interview with the guys who did the Mario 64 16-star co-op glitch run. He seemed like an affable sort for interviews.

The Twitch Community Archives on YouTube has their own uploads. They include the Twitch chat and don't seem to have 100% of the runs up, but you might find some of the early runs watchable there for now.

For a limited time, Twitch will also host their own copy of the stream, called "VOD" (Video On Demand). For each GDQ event, there's always a Reddit thread with links to each run's start point in its respective VOD. the URL for the Reddit thread is floating around somewhere near the start of this thread, but here it is again: https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/3z9fyi/agdq_vod_thread_2016/

I'll just wait a bit for the earlier runs I missed. No rush.
