Oh come on. I'm as much a fan of lalabashing as the next guy, but the idiom you're paraphrasing has cat in it already. Just begging for a '-girl/boy'.

Yes, but you have to be a Roe to swing a kitty person with any force.

So apparently Yoshi-P was invited to a player event on the Tonberry server (Which he plays on) and the community decided the best way to respond was to spam the event with Magitek mounts and explosions. And when Yoshi-P tried to teleport away they prevented him from doing so by spamming trade invites.

    His reponse:
    z34rofV.jpg

Also I would fully expect that they will patch in a fix preventing players from initiating a trade with a teleporting character after this. (Which they should do as it's annoying.)

edit: Note I doubt that the picture is actually related to the events that transpired, but it's fitting either way.

C'mon Tonberry server! Is that any way to treat your game's savior?

I should really hit somebody up for a fresh GHOST invite. I just feel so bad after getting really into the game for a few days, joining up, quitting, and getting booted for inactivity after six months go by. Just to rinse and repeat six months later.

So I'm gonna give myself a few days to get into the swing of things methinks.

I can definitely live without dps meters. I equally think they're toxic and extremely helpful when you want to see if you're doing things totally wrong.

Parsers are great to opt into, sure. I just hope that Square maintains ban-ablility for parse-pushers even if they add a self-parser to the game. This game has an amazing community atmosphere going for it (albeit not without the occasional requisite jerk), and I'd hate to see the dynamic of group play changed. Right now, if someone isnt performing well you have to pay attention--which means its fairly easy to tell if they're being active and clueless, or phoning it in.

If they relax their attitude too much on parsers, its hard not to feel like the community play will get lost in the numbers game (which is one of my biggest issues with WOW). It's a delicate line to walk. I'm perfectly happy with the current scenario though, so I hope they work on letting us queue with our chocobo out before they bother with an ingame parser.

Damn. that time between patch starts and we can start enjoying all the new stuff!!....

I never in a million years thought anything could set this man off.

Of course it had to be the players.

    You ingrates.

If anything I thought he'd be spammed with messages asking him to "put famous FF related thing in this game".

    That's what I would've done...

    I just noticed this:

The Search Results window will no longer close after making a purchase via the market board.

Finally, that gets fixed as I *hated* buying something and then having to reclick on the item I was buying multiples of.

If I ever had the chance to say anything to Yoshi P, in game or in person, and my mouth didn't drop to the floor and lose the ability to speak coherently, I would simply thank him and his team for all their hard work and if he was down for it give him a hug.

I certainly wouldn't want to ask for him to put X in the game.

When Yoshi-P and I saw each other for the first time. There were sparks in the air. It was right after the cosplay competition at fan fest. I literally grabbed him by the arm when he was on his way to the back stage and asked him for his autograph. I was kinda incoherent...there were soooo many people! I don't even know how I got a picture with him at the end O_O

That sounds right, I do remember it happening once. I'd actually went to grab a drink so I missed the cutscene, but when I came back I saw my guy had woken up startled, bolting upright out of bed.

Haven't noticed it since 2.0 and that video shows (I think) the bad guy from 1.0, so I'm assuming it doesn't happen now.
