    Trying not to freak out, but I leave for Texas in less than a week now. I got my tickets to PAX Prime (the first I've ever attended) seventeen days before the show, so while this is probably the more typical experience, that early arrival kind of built the exact right sort of expectation to cause me to melt down now.

    My badges show shipped over a week ago and nothing yet. Getting worried as I leave Tuesday and Monday is a Holiday.

    Not sure when mine shipped, since I barely checked today and they are marked as shipped. Maybe they're using Digital River for shipment ;)

    Yeah, it'd be nice if they marked a ship date. If it's going to cut this close to the convention, I'd almost prefer to pick up at the show. I've never had a badge shipment cut this close. If we're worried about counterfeits, there's gotta be a better way than delaying paying customers' shipments.

    It doesn't normally cut this close- at least that hasn't been my experience with East. I think there may have been some rough starts getting ready for South for the first time, but I could be wrong. At least on the PA staff podcast they mentioned that things were a little behind schedule following the holidays but that they expected things to pick up. I'm no expert but I did end up getting mine so I bet yours are just on the cusp of arrival!

    Definitely is a South thing. My Prime tickets in previous years never cut it this close. I hope they show up soon, by this time next we I (and probably lots of folks) will already be in Texas and nowhere near our mailboxes!

    Starting to get a little concerned with my passes not arriving yet. I'm just glad I don't leave Dallas for San Antonio until Wednesday.

    But ah well, at least I know who to contact now if they don't get here by Saturday.

    "End of this week" has been the going deadline for when you should contact PAX. Don't worry. I've had badges not show before and I had no problems getting replacements from PAX at the show (for free, I don't mean buying more).

    The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

    Indeed, but it's still good for them to have a record of who is doing this. They won't have an unlimited pile of badges for this purpose. Important to email.

    And you came to this conclusion how? Not everyone gets them at the same time. Also pax_questions gets loads of emails, be patient. If they don't respond by monday, email again.

    Just got mine in the mail today (I'm here in San Antonio). Only sad thing is the friend I was going to attend with (my first PAX attempt) had issues at work and is not going to be able to go. :( Excited to go, but kinda bummed/scared to go on my own at the same time. If you see a lonely and confused looking dude, come say 'hi'!
