I have absolutely no idea what is going on and cannot interpret that screenshot in any way.
Fanda didn't want to deal with a hot zone and potentially losing 1-3 squaddies on a Small Sectoids Scout, so we aborted the mission to avoid casualties.
What happened there? I don't really understand the error message?
We came, we saw and we began to have serious doubts about Elvenshae Airlines tour packages while running the hell away.

I've never aborted before, I've only played a few missions of old xcom.
I thought it was talking about aliens when it said units.
Like it was an automated warning message put into OpenXcom.
Okay I'm cool now.

As the Skyranger nears home, a blip suddenly appears on Elvenshae's onboard radar.
He hands over the contact to Baske, who continues tracking it from Haus Von Trapp. Down in the hangar, technicians rush to warm up the fuelling pumps. We're going to need a very fast turnaround on this one.
With the UFO passing out of range over the Atlantic, we take one last bearing on it and find that it's altered course south-southwest.
Hurry home, Skyranger-1.
Hurry hurry hurry.
Four hours and ten minutes later, we receive the alert.

Though, I think it should go without saying that we'd appreciate it if you'd leave the banks intact. Our spaceships aren't going to buy themselves.
