I'm not really a SE++ regular (though that is changing following the Holiday love-in) but I thought I'd poke my head in here and say that we're running the regular, yearly, Game of the Year poll over in G&T. Thread here

I looked through the whole list but couldn't find my #1 game from last year. (Trails in the Sky, released on steam in 2014) I know it's had a Western release before, though.

Valiant Hearts is the Ubisoft game about WW1.

There are always edge cases about what to include. I think the standard here is that it has to be the first US release on any platform. Which would disallow Trails, but it does allow Vib-ribbon (which is on the list).

Right now it's... boring. It's like an early-access game; great bone structure but not really feature-complete.

Huh, I only had like 5 games to put on the list - guess everything else I bought this year was older games that just came on Steam sales. Oh I forgot Ground Zeroes came out this year, I guess.

Well on the plus side none of my choices were particularly popular so that should throw a fun mix into things.
