To me, the best part of Conan was actually the side comics they did in some of the issues. Least in the norwegian issues there used to be one with kung-fu vikings, which I can't find anywhere and a german one based off DnD sessions.

Okay, that's the first I've heard of any of those and that sounds awesome.
It was very rare for them to include anything but Conan in the magazines, so they stuck in my head. The viking one is from 2002 and is called 'Blodøks' (Bloodaxe). Don't think it got very far, but it had a very distinct art style which has stuck with me since I read it. I think the german DnD comic was called Helden, they put it in when they decided to run full-colour extra issues of Conan in addition to the black and white ones. There's a fairly strong tradition here for giving, well, anything a chance in a big magazine. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I see there is a Frazetta Museum website, but given the recent legal kerfuffles between Frazetta's heirs, I don't know if it's trustworthy or not. Any advice from y'all ?

Just to follow up on that John Carter print I ordered online from the Frazetta Museum in Pennsylvania, they mailed it out the same day and it came just as advertised. So the Frazetta Museum is a legitimate operation and a great source of Frank Frazetta prints at very reasonable prices.
