Regarding tier, I wish more tier set bonuses had the synergy that the Enh set has this tier. 2p: Stormstrike reduces the cooldown on Feral Spirits by 5s. 4p: when you use Feral Spirits, you turn into a feral spirit, and your wolves can proc Windfury (also movement speed buff).
I think if more classes had similar synergy, the tier sets would be much more desirable and interesting.
Honestly I'd be happy if they just designed the tier bonuses around how classes actually play
See the Resto Druid or Brewmaster tier bonuses for good examples.
The Resto Druid 4pc is almost utterly useless unless you are healing completely wrong, and as for Brewmasters, while the 2pc is at least mediocre, the 4pc is completely pointless.
I really like the blood DK 2pc set bonus. The 2pc gives you incredible uptime on Vampiric Blood and it sounds like the 4pc gives some nice ok mitigation while you have VB active (though the wording on it is a little unclear).
The Unholy set bonuses are really nice too. The 2pc should give close to 100% uptime on Dark Transformation (with +40% pet damage!) from 45%-0 (I actually need to remember to track this better with a WeakAura or something), which also means you get a free death rune about every 30 seconds with the 4pc for activating DT.

I was very puzzled by the 4 piece bonus for resto druids. I can't think of any time I would ever actually get any benefit from that short of just forcing myself to heal in the least efficient and sensible way possible.

I can build a TMW for you, also. Depends on whether you want to see an icon type notification, or something prettier from WeakAuras.
I bought mine at the end of Cata from the AH. I used TUJ to find low prices and relatively stable supply, then made an alt and moved it over with a guild (with some extra funds just in case). So for all intents and purposes, I paid $35 for it. And it was worth it.
I think at the time, I paid under 300k gold for the rare version. The only difference between the two (other than price) is that the epic version has armor. I think the rare version is more aesthetically pleasing.
I believe I bought mine on Stormrage.
And for what it's worth, I recently used some of the extra gold on the Spectral Tiger alt to buy an (obviously duped because it was only 60k) Onyx Panther and I haven't "gotten in trouble" for buying it yet. Also purchased from the AH.
I think the rare version looks better too
they seem to go for about 300k on proudmoore, so I guess if I see one for a bit less than that I'll just bite the bullet and buy it. Not really super interested in transferring for the sake of getting a slightly better price

Anything would be better than what I'm doing now (nothing). I just need to figure out something so I know when there is around 5 secs left on DT so I can use my execute. I'll get with you later to work that out if you don't mind

Is this new? I opened this window and don't ever recall seeing the Garrison Cache tracker there:

I think it was designed back in beta before they did some changes to Resto's kit that made HT less useful and then they didn't go back to fix it.

If that's true, it's pretty fucking lazy.

We finally took down the Iron Maidens tonight. Took a few tries, and we had to switch up our strategy; previously we were working on focusing down Admiral during the last phase. We focused on Marak instead and things went much better.
After the servers go up tomorrow, I should be able to hit up LFR for my remaining elemental runes and then get the next stage of my ring.

That is exactly how we got our kill. The stacking DOT from Marak was causing too much stress on the healers. Did you guys kill Admiral second or third? Right now, we are still doing Marak > Sorka > Admiral; in part because Admiral still runs all over the place. With the fix to Admiral, the phase just gets shortened since she can eat a few more cleaves in between turrets.

We killed Admiral second. Our raid team (myself included) is not particularly good at dodging the fireballs from the turret so it felt important to get her down second. It also doesn't seem like Sorka does much of anything for damage so it pretty much felt like we had won as soon as admiral and the last turret died.
Ugh follower upgrades without sets coming out of salvage boxes is le suq. I've only got a handful of guys at 630, and I basically poop myself with joy whenever a 615 weapon or armor token comes outta the bunker.
On the upside, I got my windwalker up to about 640 last week, so I'm going into both raids this week looking only for healer gear. It'll be nice to just see a loot drop as a bonus instead of rabidly trying to reach a certain iLVL. =P

Yeah, I can imagine not getting the armor sets from salvage is unpleasant now. I had a lot of followers at the cap pre-6.1; a week or two afterwards, I replaced my stables with a bunker to accelerate getting everyone to the cap again. Eventually I had so many upgrades that I didn't feel like waiting for a 645 armor or weapon set to upgrade a 630 follower, so I just blew all my upgrade tokens to get them to 675.
Once I maxed out all my current active followers, I saved up enough tokens to do the same to Garona when I get her, and replaced the bunker with a mage tower. I didn't know the mage tower's work orders can get you instant mission completion items, but I am happy with those. From now on I'll be able to get my Highmaul/BRF caches before my actual raids!
you'll relatively quickly get to the point where 615 upgrades aren't really useful at all; once most of your followers are higher ilvl than that they just kinda pile up
I've been saving a pile on vague 'might use'em someday' grounds, but should probably just vendor them

Yeah, I sold a bunch of my 615 items a few weeks ago because they were taking up way more bank space than necessary. Still keeping one stack of each just in case, but I doubt that case will ever occur.
Speaking of bank space, I guess I can clear these follower retraining things out of my inventory now. I've been waiting for a hotfix for them to stack. I only get them from follower missions, so it's no big loss:
I just wish intellect pots would stack higher than 20
I have tons now as a result of the alchemy lab daily
I flat out stopped bothering. It's so worthless now that they are BoP
Well over the span of a BRF I use a minimum of 20 potions (2 per fight) and that increases if there's any wipes, so getting all of those for free from doing that daily is pretty good in my book.

you might give NeedtoKnow some run; it is basically a training wheels version of weakauras that represents specific buffs/timers/cooldowns/etc as bars that you can position and style. It's much less powerful than WA but the config won't break your brain

I threw something together in WA last night, but I haven't used it in practice yet. I'll see how it goes tonight, then might give NtK or TMW a shot if it's not good enough (or too much)
I can't tell if it was a bug in Master Plan, or something else. I only had one slot that I could customize my follower mission loadout last night. As in, at the top, where you can specify a party of up to 3; there was only one slot available. There was an update to MP, but I don't think that fixed the problem.
I grabbed my second Treasure Hunter follower from my Inn last night. Trying to powerlevel him using Harrison. I like that you can grab rare quality followers from the Headhunter. It takes an extra level of XP grinding out of the process.

I already have a bunch of followers... is it better to use the inn to get treasure hunters, or the reroll tokens?
you'll get them more reliably from the inn, since you can just recruit them
my experience at least was that enough of my followers had dumpy traits that I wanted to reroll anyway that I picked up a few treasure hunters along the way

I'll use ability rerolls if I have a follower with awesome traits (scavenger/treasure hunter/epic mount) that are otherwise meh, and trait rerolls for followers who are otherwise completely worthless (ones who love pandas, beasts, and fighting on the plains)

Turns out this was added in the latest Master Plan. It's not in the base UI. D'oh.
