    Raphal Bartol

"Do not concern yourself with Commander Thanas, Lieutenant. He will be dealt with in time. For now, concern yourself with me. My slicer even now is combing through your records. Any supply requests that have gone ignored, any operating funds that have been siphoned off from this station...any instance of your disloyalty to the Emperor will be used to judge you. You and Commander Thanas both."

Raphal looks ahead and spots Golgannon and presumably one of the pilots from Rapier flight ahead in the hallway. "I will assume that you men do not think very highly of you, Lieutenant. If you wish to save any bit of dignity from this encounter, you would be well advised to fully cooperate with my investigation, and to direct your men likewise. If you have any information you would like to share, now is the time to do so."

What little color remained in Dalledos' face drained as he watched the pilot approach with a second unknown figure. "I have... information... regarding secret accounts belonging to Commander Thanas." The man swallowed. "I will disclose that information to you if I am free from reprisal for my... indiscretions."

    Orell Golgannon

"So this is the one responsible for the poor state of your facilities?" Orell gestured vaguely towards the man as they were walking towards him, making sure the second lieutenant heard his voice. "What is the meaning of this? The way you treat your pilots, the only line of defense against this little rebellion that is spreading in your sector of space," he added after a moment, "is so far from the standards that it needs to be at, that someone who frequents sub-level 62 on Coruscant would find it in a terrible state." He glanced at A'kazz before looking back at Dalledos. "You're asking them to fly sortie in TIE-fighters, with rubberbands and pieces of string to keep their crafts together, and on top of that, anyone could walk into their quarters when they are out on said sorties, because you've ignored any request for any form of authorization to be installed in the hanger!"

Taking a moment to compose himself, Orell stared the officer down before getting right in his face.

"That place, despite your pilots' best efforts, is more open than the bar you frequent. Now tell me, second lieutenant Dalledos. Why are you treating your pilots like this? Why are you even in charge?" He asked as he placed his hand rather firmly on the man's shoulder.
"Do you feel in charge?" :D

"As I told your... associate," began Lieutenant Dalledos, "we had no reason to expect an inspection, impromptu or otherwise. Sometimes facilities can fall a bit behind spec, even in the Empire. I acknowledge that Bakura Point is, perhaps, below the acceptable minimum, but this is not an active conflict zone and leeway should be given." He thrust his chin out at you and brushed your hand off his shoulder. "Regardless, I am not the final arbiter of resources allocated to this station, and cannot be held accountable for actions taken by Commander Thanas. You may be able to bully me, but Thanas has the ear of the planetary governor. I'd like to see you try your strong-arm tactics with him."

A'kazz rolled his eyes. "Lieutenant, if you think these are strong-arm tactics, I hope you never get assigned to the Executor."

"You will provide us with any evidence you have, Lieutenant. And you will comply fully with our investigation..." Raphal states, leaving no room for argument. "Regardless of whether or not you receive mercy for your gross dereliction of duty. Consideration would be given, had you even made an attempt at maintaining Imperial standards in the face of corrupt Officers. You did not. Your career, and your life, are in my hands."

Raphal pauses as Golgannon and A'kazz chime in and nods his agreement. "You will find Lieutenant, that while I am not our Lord Vader, I have my limits. Do not test them."

    Bryzen Tark

After a long period of quiet on his part, during which he feigns looking through unimportant terminals along the route, Bryzen finally speaks up.

"Where are your external terminal stations? I need to be able to report out beyond this system, but none of these terminals are anywhere near spec".

Bryzen taps furiously at another station, pretending to look for something that isn't there.

"Which terminal do you use for outbound?"

    Jassa Munavri

While Tark busied himself with his tasks, Jassa kept an eye on him. In truth this was a bit of an cakewalk and she idlely hoped that something would happen soon to keep her occupied if no other reason. Just following Tark around and watching him fiddle with the terminals was an exercise in driving her to boredom. When Tark finally started talking, it was finally time to be able to do something. Jassa flexed her arm as she walked closer to keeping her neutral game face with a twinkle of malice in her eyes. Come on...give me an excuse...

    Orell Golgannon

"I believe that might be what comes before strong-arming, Second Lieutenant." Orell flashed a brief smile as he glanced at Raphal and then A'kazz, before looking back at Dalledos. "Get your pilots' hangar in order, or you will be removed. Show some pride in your work. And see to it that our shuttle is refuelled. We will need to look into the information Jassa brought to light earlier." He nodded to the gathered, and began walking down towards the hanger again, motioning for A'kazz to follow him.

After putting the second lieutenant behind him, he turned to the TIE-pilot. "Tell me of depot 67 in the Cresh Sektor."

Apologies, I had family business to tend to over the weekend :)

Lieutenant Dalledos frowned, then dipped his head to Commander Bartol. "I... will transfer the information to your datapad immediately." The man swallowed, the gesture meant to hide his grimace. "My lord."

It didn't take Tark much time to find a free terminal. Finding one that wasn't covered in dust from disuse would have been more difficult, but he took what he could get. A quick check showed that a dozen malware and spybots running on the first ring, but they were amateur work at best and clearing them only took a moment. Once he had a properly established connection, Tark found himself with virtually unfettered access to resources both on the station and in the local space.

While scanning the area looking for trouble, Munavri spotted something just a bit unusual. The same protocol droid had wandered past this stretch of corridor three times while she had been escorting Tark. It didn't seem to take any notice of her or her companions, but what's the point of a protocol droid if it isn't constantly harassing all nearby sentients and reminding them how many languages it speaks?

"Depot 67?" Asked A'kazz to Golgannon. "It's a storage facility for Danison Nereus. A local trader, wears a cape. Flashy type. He was a governor of one of the cities before we nationalized Bakura. Visits the station from time to time, and he's always polite. Never makes insane demands of us. Nice guy. Why?"

    Jassa Munavri

Jassa was not certain if it was the same protocol droid or just a series of identical droids parading past them, but either way the droid's behavior bothered her greatly. There were all sorts of reasons of that behavior and all of them were the bad ones. Jassa turned to Tark, "Do you have a weapon on you? Keep it loose, we might need to shoot our way out." She reached for one of her knives. "I'll give our odds on that 'might' being more than likely. Work fast, I'll be right back." She quietly walked away from Tark and began to try to follow the droid and its path. Maybe it was guarding something near where they were working...

"Repulsorlifts and manufacturing technology before we took over that market," replied A'kazz. "He sold us his entire supply at a discount, then turned that around and invested in medicine and medical technology."

"And liquor," Dalledos interjected. "The man is a rogue and probably a pirate."

A'kazz scoffed. "Just because he doesn't pay your 'enhanced docking fees'? The locals don't need to bend and scrape to you in order to be good Imperial citizens."

Bartol frowns at Dalledos at A'kazz's mention of bribes. "Enough. The more I hear of your conduct as an officer, the more I am disappointed in you Lieutenant Dalledos. Effective immediately, you are removed from command of this station. Pray that I do not remove your head from your shoulders. Commander A'kazz, are you capable of taking over his duties here?"

I really feel like I need to kill this guy. Its what any dark-sider would do, really. He deserves to be punished, and its not wise to leave an enemy at your back.

    Bakura Point, Mechanical Closet

As Jassa tailed the droid, it continued taking its small, mincing steps in the exact same manner it had been before she started following it. Shortly before she would have given up the task for being pointless, the droid stopped abruptly and walked into a mechanical closet, the doors sliding open at its approach. Not wasting any time, Jassa slipped in behind it - deftly avoiding the security camera posted just inside the room.

"Sir, the new arrivals are now asking about Prince Nereus. If he learns of our involvement, we run the risk of having our secondary operations exposed."

    Bakura Point, Main Corridor

A'kazz runs a hand over his head. "Sir, I'm a pilot. I don't have the training to run a station like this. Which is to say that of course I accept, anyone could do the job better than this carbon flush. I would, however, request to be replaced immediately upon finding a more suitable candidate."

    I'm not stopping you. :3

Getting access to the stations terminals did the trick, and in no time at all Bryzen was bypassing security configurations and accessing restricted files. One set of automated procedures caught his eye - "Docking fees, addition." The contents of the file list every ship that docked in the last six months, the account attached to it, and the account to which all this money is being funneled.
It'd be pretty trivial to change it so that the money was routed into one of your personal accounts.

"How would that be for strong-arming, hrm?" Orell added, whilst doing well to hide his smirk. "We need to get the transport prepped and ready, Captain Bartol. There's no point in delaying looking into this depot 67 business." He turned his head towards A'Kazz. "File a report on this man's failings," he gestured to Dalledos before continuing: "And put him in detention until we get back here and take him to Coruscant. I'll find a suitable replacement for you as soon as I am there, so you can get back to doing what you were born to do; Being a pilot."

    Jassa Munavri

Sir? Her lip curled back into a grimace as she heard this disloyal speech. It was clear that this world had spent too long without the corrective discipline of the Empire to remind them of their true loyalties. Now it was too late for discipline...only for the pruning of rotted branches to allow new correct growth to take its course. Hand on the handle, Jassa slid loose a vibroknife from its restrictions and prepared to awaken it for its duty. She looked around for someplace to gain a better view on who the droid was addressing.

Jassa padded deeper into the mechanical closet, strafing silently to peak around the droid. In its hands she saw a portable holoprojector, and the image of the man it was projecting. The man stood with confidence, head held high and strong chin thrust forward. Despite being a fraction of the size of the droid, Jasaa got the distinct impression that he was looking down his nose a the protocol unit.

    Raphal Bartol

Raphal nodded his approval as Dalledos was led away. "Good. If I were to hear any more of Dalledo's lies and self serving bile, I would have taken his head from his shoulders. Be a good soldier, A'kazz. Serve your Emperor well and you will be rewarded."

Falling into step with Golgannon, Bartol heads back to the ship. "Come, let us see how Tark is faring. We will need more evidence before we can face the governor of Bakura with his corruption.

It was getting harder and harder to keep control of his rage recently. In his early training with Count Dooku, Raphal saw more than one of Dooku's other "apprentices" fall to madness as they were exposed to the power of the Dark Side. Raphal counted at least three times where he had to restrain himself from doing away with Dalledos altogether. Despite the fact that he had the Emperor's blessing to conduct his operations as he saw fit, the political implications of dealing with a corrupt or treasonous Moff were more delicate. A cowed and obedient Dalledos would give stronger testimony than headless corpse. Hopefully, Raphal would be allowed to unleash his full power soon.

Of course, he would think himself above reproach; they all did. Not that it would help him when the time came, it never helped anyone. Jassa began to hum quietly as she continued to watch, he'd just be another nameless soul to be ground into dust for the greater good of the Empire. Now as soon as the droid was done prattling, Jassa was certain that its core was full of nice important details that Bryzen would be able to liberate from it. She wondered if she could break her own record on quick disassembly...

It moved slower than a malfunctioning GNK droid, Jassa was certain of it. in all of galaxy she had finally found something even slower than the ubiquitous power droid and her grip tightened on the handle, willing the damned thing to move faster. Once it had finally moved under the arc of the watchful camera eyes, Jassa sped forward waiting for the last moment before the vibroknife in her hand thrummed with lively power.

Knife in hand, Jassa crouched down next to the unpowered droid and gave it a once over. A simple limb job would do it and so it was. She deftly liberated the droid of extra limbs, it was as easy as cracking a suuri for its delicious meat. Casting the scattered metal parts around, all that was left of the droid was its torso and head still firmly attached to it. Jassa deactivated her knife and sheathed it, not too bad for a few minutes work. She leaned down to pick up the torso before she paused and picked up the holoprojector and pocketed it, maybe Bryzen could work his slicer magic on this as well...

With the droid in hand, Jassa made her way back to where Bryzen was still fiddling with the consoles. "Hey, I found a shiny new friend for you, why don't you say hello to it?" Jassa dismissively gave the torso a toss watching as it skidded across the floor to rest at Bryzen's feet. "You can do something with it right?"
