Does anyone know if Awesomenauts receives updates and patches on the PS4? I played it on 360 back in the day but the developer abandoned that version pretty quickly. Is there a decent amount of people playing? Also, is there a lot of people playing Towerfall? That game looks fun.
You can share play Towerfall MP, but otherwise it's local only. Amazingly awesome local MP, though (I rarely get to play 4p Towerfall, but when I do, they are by far my favorite gaming sessions lately).
"Alas, we're still not quite ready to make the announcement. I can't give you a firm time at present as to when the post will go live, but we're working to get it to you as soon as possible. It may well be next week at this stage."
I despise the RNG of Xenoverse. This is so intensely frustrating.
Same. I'm trying to get Android 18's jacket, and on top of the mission just being balls hard, the RNG is having none of my shit.
Farming is a bit easier with other people though I'm running into the problem of playing with random people that wont do what we need to get a certain thing. Or at least what I'm assuming we need to do since it makes sense.

I've come to believe that last hits are a thing in this game for some fucking reason, so if you're farming, playing with other people might actually be detrimental. I cant tell, because I haven't gotten a single fucking drop in the past 6 missions either way.

I doubt it. I've farmed a few missions alone a bunch of times and I've gotten nothing at all from them before I gave up.
Edit: With all the farming I have to do for stuff I'm not sure I'm gonna make another character. I'm already getting burned out on doing these missions and not getting anything at all for it.

Is the Xenoverse online stuff still not working?
Is there a non-shitty and awkward way to do a grab? It is so horribly done in this game. It is a nightmare trying to break someone's guard. It is also insanely frustrating to fight two enemies at once since I can only defend against the one I'm attacking.
I always feel like my enjoyment for the game is one step forward and my frustrating is 10 steps backwards.

And as far as I know, no. The only way to do a grab is guard and hit O/B. I eventually just gave up trying to break guard and circling around them to punch them in the back.

Damn, that sucks. I got on once for about 10 minutes and it was really cool.
Does my character stand around in other people's hub area waiting to be recruited or do I have to set that up?
Fun fact, you can get KOed during a cut scene.

I didn't know that Playstation Now had a 7 day free trial. I was bemoaning the fact that I really wanted to play some of the Uncharted games again (after checking old trophies and realizing that a Crushing run of the first game is the only thing I need for a Platinum) and figured I'd check out of curiosity to see if they were on Now.
- Selecting all games did that thing that the PSN store does all the time where you get a few items and then a bunch of empty boxes.
- I selected an empty box at random and it ended up being Crazy Taxi
- Played Crazy Taxi, and it looked solid and there was no discernable lag
- Can't take screenshots while playing PS Now games I guess
This seems a lot cooler than I thought it would, now that I've had a chance to actually fire it up. Assuming the other games play as well on my connection as Crazy Taxi did I could seriously see myself dropping the money for a subscription at some point in the future.
Why do people want "Android" as a separate race? They look like humans. The popular ones are humans. Their usual special abilities can be used by humans in the game.

There's a lot of dumb shit you can do with the races already included.

Fun new thing with Xenoverse. It keeps telling me the Xenoverse servers are down which is fine, I want to do single player. When I select single player it tries to connect to the servers again and then I basically freezes and never lets me into the game. This is happening a lot.

After two unsuccessful tries, Xenoverse puts you in offline mode. Which is fine, that's all Iwant anyway. I wish I could just tell it to only do offline mode, but I gotta wait and wait for it to figure out that online doesnt work...
My initial enthusiasm for the game has worn out. It's a great DBZ game, but some clunkiness in the controls and the online(that i dont even want) issues are killing it.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
I've played games that do that. Should work if you disconnect entirely. It'll stop trying if you crush its hopes.
I really want to know what idiot thinks that this is something that should be on like a 15 minute timeout.
Apparently a rather common idiot. Bioware has done similar things.
Oh, I know. My latest offender that pissed me off was Dragon Age during the annual PSN Christmas outage. "Can't play destiny, I'll play Dragon Age!" That didn't go anywhere.
So I just booted up Netflix and watched Breaking Bad.
Dragon Age has a "Don't try to connect" option. Of course, if you haven't checked that option, you have to let it sit for 5 minutes before you can go check it.
Oh my, I do love the wonder of the PSN Download list. Know what it does when you renew your PS+ subscription? It places all your PS+ games at the top of your list. So helpful!
Anybody have any idea what would happen if I removed the memory card from my Vita and placed it into my PSTV? I'm assuming not good things like being able to use the games that are downloaded to it. Probably the opposite really.

I actually kinda like that the download list does that, it helps me remember which games I've actually bought and which ones I've gotten for free.
As for your PSTV thing, pretty sure it'll work like normal. Incompatible games won't work but that's pretty obvious.

Holy shit. Xenoverse AI is so stupid. How the hell did they think it was a good idea to make some of these conditions dependent on the AI KOing an enemy when the AI is significantly weaker and seems to refuse entirely to fight?

Out of curiosity I checked the store page to see how much DLC DOA5: Core Fighters (the free to play version of DOA5) had.
There are over 300 pieces of DLC. The season pass is $93, and it appears next to a complete costume set that I guess isn't covered under the season pass that is also $93.
Does Tecmo know that horny 14 year olds generally do not have hundreds of dollars of disposable income?
Why are there six different versions of Dead or Alive 5? Are they trying to out-Capcom Capcom?
So, I have a friend who wants to get into the Atelier games. They are not sure what they should start with, if they should start with the first, that kinda stuff. They have played Atelier Ayesha though.

Atelier Ayesha is the first of the Dusk series(currently a trilogy - Ayesha, Escha&Logy, and the upcoming Shallie). If they want to play the Arland ones, then the order is Rorona, Totori, and Meruru, Rorona+ post game. If they're playing the Plus versions they may want to start with Totori, since that has the oldest gameplay system. But otherwise, chronologically gives you the most benefit with the returning characters, and seeing how they've changed since they showed up in the previous games.

Finally beat the main story stuff of Xenoverse. I haven't been this frustrated and genuinely mad at a game in a long time. I beat it out of spite.
Cool story though, I dig it. Very Dragon Ball like. I still feel like Super Saiyan should have been a thing that just happened and was achieved through the story rather than farming/buying it. Would have been a cooler moment. Could have done the same with the other races and Kaioken. It just felt really weird fighting along Goku and feeling as strong as him without being a Super Saiyan/having Kaioken active.
Now to farm a bunch of unnecessary stuff and go insane and then go Super Saiyan in real life and fly off into space.

I actually don't think the DOA DLC is the big problem people make it out to be.
The forty dollar game has a good amount of costumes already.
It costs a ton to buy all the costumes because there simply are tons of costumes. because they have been consistently making new ones for years. The actual costs of costumes themselves is pretty standard pricing for video games. Yeah it costs ninety bucks if you want every single one, but that is literally hundreds of costumes.
There's nothing wrong with continuing to support your game through DLC costumes. If anything, it's pretty cool that they have done so much and will keep doing lots more. I like the support and see nothing wrong with selling costumes.
