I would make evolving your Mermaid into a Siren a high priority. Her leader skill will eventually become a strong auto-heal, and you can skill her up really easily with Marine Goblins. Her evolutions are some of the most popular in the game for low-to-mid dungeons, and she even features as a sub in some of the end-game builds people use. She will let you make an effective grinding team along with a Green Odin friend for those dungeons where you don't have enough oomph to kill things fast, but you have enough HP to take a few hits.
Siren (Evo Mermaid), Blue Valkyrie, Gabriel, Snow White, and S. Grundy Reborn (Evo Grundy), and Crystal Aurora Dragon (Evo Aurora Dragon) all do a lot of really great orb changing that could make fire dungeons much less of a slog, even if you were using a grind strategy.
For Hyperion Lava Flow, on Lava Dragon of Mantle and Center of the Earth, you will want a user of either Poison or a defense-ignoring attack like Solar Laser. You can use defense-reducers like Dark Golem, too, but those are more work, but if you have Green Odin + Siren you should be able to tank easily. With a maxed Green Odin as an ally, I don't think the solo bosses can actually kill you so long as you always match some orbs, even without any other healing. You'd only be in danger when facing multiple opponents.
Ultimately, you should decide for yourself whether or not you keep playing, I'd hope just a few failures isn't enough to discourage you, because I'm glad I stuck with the game until now.
Well the problem right now is I can't clear anything new. So literally all I can do is grind rank. And, once a week, I can do the one dungeon that drops Dragon Plants to actually level things up. There is nothing else I have access to that I can do to advance my position. There is no 'help' I can get, and I can play the game just fine skillwise, but it's the raw numbers and assets in game that have me stalled. I keep being told I can make X team or use X friend to beat something, then when I clarify the monsters I actually have and my rank and other resources, suddenly nobody has anything helpful to say except 'you should keep playing'.
I feel fairly certain people have given you actual team suggestions before. I'd say your best bet is Kushinada, at present, and whatever other strong monsters work on her team, it may also benefit you to make a mono-color team if you have the monsters, and an ADK team since that was useful for me when I was just starting out, since you can get 9x damage. You can use a grind team to get gravities. After that the Heroes probably.
Post what you have again, and include a list of "things" you'd like to be able to do, and I'll see what teams I can recommend, maybe some other people will help too.
Updated with everything I have right now. The extra 20 spaces or so are like 10 unevoled Pengdras I need Dragon Plants for, and some misc. evolution stuff like masks or spirit things.
I have listed...a team with Valkyrie, Mandrake, Mamiya, two evolved Carbunkles. Norn, Meteor Dragon, Firedragon Tyrannus, Mamiya, Samurai Goblin. Kushinadahime, Red/Blue/Light/Dark evolved Dragons like the Meteor Dragon. Other teams are just Kushinadahime with either all Light/Green/Blue guys for when I was starting the Technical stuff.
Looking it up, ADK means Ancient Dragon Knight? I don't have one of those. I don't know what a grind team or gravities are. Or Heroes.
I want to advance further through dungeons, I'm at Hyperion Lava Flow/Castle of Satan in the Abyss. I also need a Keeper of Rainbows and Mystic Mask to evolve things. Other than that, I just need resources to level things up, which I can only get once a week. And if I'm busy on Thursday, I'm screwed.
Surprisingly, the FotNS dungeon just dropped Raoh for me.
I feel that setting some easy goals might help. I know I like to take things in steps, like "I need to get X monster evolved so I can make a team to beat Y dungeon."
Right now it looks like your box is getting full and you need to evolve some monsters to make the most of them. You need to be able to run Keeper of Rainbow, the Mask dungeon, and the Dublit dungeon to do so. If you're having trouble in these dungeons then here's my suggestion:
Get a Naga and get a poisoner.
Naga is a healer with decent attack whose skill delays the enemy's attack. She's mega-valuable and she appears on many top-tier teams. Delaying the enemy is the key to defeating some important levels. Get a Naga!
To get Naga, go and run [Normal] Castle of Satan - The Witch's Ball, [Normal] Tower of Flare - Dance of Light and Flame, actually, there're many dungeons that drop Naga. Check out the database. Anyway, the drop is not a great chance, but it's a chance. Sometimes you just gotta grind.
You actually already have a poisoner; BAO Copperhead. When she is evolved she gets a poison skill. Poisoning is totally awesome because it does damage regardless of the enemy's defense. This is the key to killing Masks and Spirit-Lits. Evolve Copperhead ASAP!
These monsters will allow you to beat the evolution material dungeons. Use the Evo materials to evolve your Lovely Maiden, Princess Valkyrie. She's a good lead and you can make a healer team quite easily. The Naga I've been mentioning is a healer. Your two Mayimas are healers. You have a Mermaid, Alarune, and other healer monsters. Build a healer team.
Minor advice regarding your Tamadras and lack of box space: use them on monsters that you're not going to get reliable dupes of. Your Valkyrie is a good candidate. Feed her 3 right now -you're not getting dupes of her and she'll be a good leader. Congrats; you have three more box spaces. When you evolve a Mayima, do the same. Boom, more space.
And lastly, don't let perfect be the enemy of good. You don't have to wait to evolve your pengdras. They're worth good XP maxed at level 10 and you can get them without any fuss in the first few technical dungeons. Get pengs, feed 1 and 2 star monsters to them, feed the maxed pengs to BAO Copperhead (regardless of color) and evolve her. Then use her to destroy the harder evo mats dungeons, getting you the mats you need to evolve Mayima, Valkyrie, Kushinadahime, etc. Then feed your Tamadras to those rarer monsters and become more awesome.
I already have the evolved blue dragon. Crystal Aurora? I fixed that on Padherder.
Like I said before, I haven't seen any friends with Green Odin. I don't think I've seen any of the random people with him either, just the Red one. I also don't have anything with Solar Laser, as far as I know.
Where am I supposed to get the exp to max level all of these monsters? Copperhead isn't so bad, but Siren is a few hundred thousand. Mandrake is 400k. Valkyrie is at least three MILLION. The things I get as drops give Valkyrie a few thousand, at most. That's why I stopped giving them to her, since I never use her. And it's not really Naga I want, it's like her third stage which is another four million exp. And I can't get the materials without beating higher dungeons...which I need these better monsters for, but I need the materials first...
I have already run the two dungeons I was told drop Naga many times and did not get her. I cannot access the higher level dungeon that has a higher drop rate for her or Echidna or whatever.
And like I said, I made a Healer team with Valkyrie/Mamiya/Mandrake/Yellow+Green Light Carbunkle. They all only have like 400-500 Attack each, so doubling that only makes them barely as strong as the Dragons on my other team. I've only seen one other person with a similar leader, Metatron?, which made them do way more damage. But that's only 1/100 times or so.
Copperhead's poison is just as good as Solar Laser, so don't worry about Solar Laser. Naga is great, but if it's getting frustrating trying to grind for her, you will eventually have an easier way to get her.
You generally want to focus on a few-colored team whenever possible. blue healers with orb changing skills, so they'd be good to focus your XP grinding on. This will help you get through the Wednesday and Friday dungeons, which can become really easy if you can reliably get every single one of your cards firing off each turn, and eventually that will give you the power you need to rip through. When it comes to Wednesday and Friday dungeons, being able to match colors is more important than your attack power, with HP/RCV coming next.
I can't help with the Green Odin issue myself, but if you want I can start leaving up a Nebradisk. Nebradisk is basically a really garbage version of Odin as a leader. You'd get most of the same damage reduction, but it won't heal you on its own and is worse at everything that Green Odin, and it won't have an active skill you can use. BUT. It can still be enough to tank if you heal fast enough.
--
At rank 66, you'll get up to 50 Stamina. Once you do, it will be possible for you to start attempt the King Metal/Jewel dungeons. Once you can beat those reliably, you'll be able to level up monsters in big bursts periodically.
My friend loves this game and I finally decided to give it a try... holy crap this game is addicting. No wonder so many people spend so much on freemium games! Gonna restart the game though and reroll until I get a better monster, apparently that's pretty important.
I'm not sure how a single color team can get a match every turn. I usually see 3-4 turns without any matching orbs. The orb-changing skills are on a 10-15 turn cooldown.
Feel free to leave that monster up, but I'm not sure if I'll ever see it. I can't really keep track of who anyone is.
I'm rank 75. Don't those dungeons just show up randomly for an hour? I think I caught the last five minutes of a similar Pengdra dungeon, once.
Clear as many of the other orbs out as you can at the same time. Sure you can still get orb trolled, but clearing half the board each turn helps make sure more show up
Alright, Mermaid and Copperhead evolved. And a ninja while I was at it. I could evolve Ceres if I could just get her another few levels. Out of stamina for tonight, though.
Edit: What team is Copperhead even supposed to fit on? Her stats are really bad and I'm guessing her leader skill isn't as good as Kushinadahime's version.
Yeah, I was really excited about that until I realized how much experience it'll cost to skill up Apollo and Izanagi. Even so...I really shouldn't complain about having more options. (I'll probably still just run Hera-Sowilo for cyclopes.)

At least Izangi is only 3 skill ups. They laughed at me for leaving my monsters around level 70-80. Who's laughing now?
Man..Super Golds are so important for XP, but I definitely want to skill-up Apollo! Pretty cool overall, though. But, yeah, cyclopses aren't too bad to get in Hera-Sowilo.
Bah, will have to skill up Yomi some more! And my new Venus who is at skill level 1.

To be fair, several people have been skilling up Izanagis by rolling a duplicate Izanagi, leveling it, evolving it, uevoing it, max-leveling it, and feeding it away, so this is still less painful. He'll probably remain my top choice for Shynpys, though.
I'll pass on rolling this time around. I've been very lucky with the chinese gods and have them all. Of the norse, I have Freyr and Thor and aren't using any of them. Loki would be good on a dark devil team, but I'm not rolling for any single god that isn't Izanagi.
I have a Liu Bei on both accounts, who I use sparingly. I still don't see the overall value in him. Then again, the account that has him, does use him on the regular as a sub.
Also, I hate the free orb dungeon. I'm up to around 300 Stam on the account and STILL NO HAKU! All I want is a dark orb to uvo the Ronia on that account.
Still debating pulling this GF for both accounts. Still avoiding the FotNS REM.
Got the light orb I need for uuvo Valk, so will likely do that soon. Athena team is looking stronger by the day. Plus, I finally unlocked all the Mechdragon floors. Holy Jeebus, the XP flows! This also gives me a reason to get a Hadar set up if I ever decide I need him on my LuBu team.

My plan for Blue/Red Zeus is proceeding nicely.
Step 1: Fail several times on the day of the dungeon
Step 2: Stay in the dungeon for almost 24 hours get pretty far and then...
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Throw phone.
I'm on Apollo, he's on timer 6, figure ra on Neptune, naga on hera-is and then... uh 50x skycombo? That's a big pile of HP. Wah.

Honestly, with the present egg changes, I might consider it (for dupes that don't require silly mats, like hades or the like)
Well that was unexpected. My tablet account is back up on my old phone. Had a bunch of stones so figured why not make a roll. First roll, gold egg. Got a zhung Liang. Sweet. Figure might as well make another roll to see if I can get another gold if not I would stop.
Gold egg. This time thor.
Roll once more to ride the wave.
Another gold egg. Crossing fingers it's lliu bei but no such luck. Light swordsman at lvl 30.
Not to shabby. Not to level up zl and build a team.
Have Athena, Robin use, a susano that I can swap to attacker and some other stuff I can fill in with.
Her active skill ignores def, which some monsters have in extreme amounts
Yeah but where do I put her, what damage or skill do I give up for that, which I'm only using rarely?
@Reynolds get a green ogre or some other critter that lets you remain alive with 1 hp if you die. Team should look like this: Ogre/BAO Copperhead/low hp green critter/low hp green critter/low hp green critter/Friend Siren, Amaterasu, Alraune whatever auto-healer. Green critter can be anything with low hp, dragon seeds, low level masks, whatever. Enter the mask dungeon. Focus your attacks on anything that is synched so you don't die. On the boss level use Copperheads Poison. Get evo materials. Profit? It may take you a few tries to get the strategy down but once it clicks you will be invincible barring the rare synched monster you can't kill in time.
