Any regular PS3 groups or folks out there? I'm on usually between 7-10 PST. I'm looking to start raiding and doing nightfalls and other team based stuff now that I have more time.

So we take @Gardhaus through his first ever normal VoG.
Then we kill Atheon pretty damn quickly and he gets a Hawkmoon.
and this is why I will never take anyone on their first ever VoG run EVER AGAIN.

According to lore - the darkness consuming you is, more or less, permadeath, right?
Your ghost, cut off from the light cannot bring you back - but can use another guardian's light to do so.
So, provided someone's ghost remains unmolested another team could find a lost guardian and bring them back? Because that is the sort of thing I want to see in the story.
Actually that's how I think the Eris bounties should have started, a crazy push into the tunnels of the moon. Dealing with some crazy hive bastard - like Sardon, if you insist. Getting trapped as a result of killing him, blocking your way our but making it clear there's another tunnel that was once blocked. Open it somehow.
And then make your way through an area filled with dead, dismembered hive and whatnot.
"What the hell happened here?"
"By the traveller, a ghost! It's still alive!"
*zzzhhhhuuum* the ghost grabs your light
Hhhhheeeeere's Eris! She hatches some crazy plan to get you all out and that's how she gets back to the tower.
Make it clear that she's A) EXTRA strength crazy and a force with which to be reckoned. Rather than a somewhat subtly crazy gollum figure.

Also, if you discovered that Eris' titan was being corrupted and transformed into an abomination through some hive ritual with his ghost (like the piece of the traveller) I would also have liked that.

So, I threw in the towel.
The running and shooting is as great as it ever was. The tasks are still as grindy. The world and the lore is frustratingly cool, but kept out of reach.
Still kinda blows to play solo.
So, yeah, not much has changed.

After a prolonged vacation from this game, I hopped back in tonight. Knocked out a few bounties, got a new purple chest from leveling the cryptarch. Tried to do an Eris bounty I've had since... whenever, the Rasputin mission on Heroic, and just... no. It's not happening, not at 29.
So, I threw in the towel.
The running and shooting is as great as it ever was. The tasks are still as grindy. The world and the lore is frustratingly cool, but kept out of reach.

Yeah that one is ass. I think it's todays heroic too. :rotate: Once I figured out that the blades that keep spawning right after the Ogre spawns at the end depsawn when the ogre dies, it made it a lot more manageable. Granted Icebreaker to its face; but if you can down it asap and just dodge any blades that might have made it near you for a sec till they despawn, you win.
If you're on PS4 and you happen to want to give it a go again, I need it on my Titan and Hunter for the daily, company is always welcome.
Yaaay I got the hat from Crota I need.for 32. Just need raw xp and maybe some wax to convert energy to shards and I'll be able to do HM Crota guilt free.
Not that I expect to get in a group for it before Wolves drops, though, but the option is there at least.
Also got a Truth from a random legendary engram, so that's rad. Already have a gjallarhorn, but it'll be good for PvP and void burns.
So I ended up killing Crota twice tonight, when I wasn't even planning on playing Destiny. Got 2x Fang of Ir Yut, a Crux, the ship, a Truth, and 9 shards. So, y'know, that happened. Game is so weird. I don't even have any of the secondary weapons because every time I'd kill normal crota it would just give me the "2 shards and nothing else" bit from Oliver Twist. Then, Hard Mode, and... it's so dumb and random.
Anyways, fun times, happy to help out a great crew. Glad we got Hiryu a kill.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
Big thanks to @The Dude With Herpes for carrying my lame ass through that Rasputin Daily. Holy hell that mission is hard.
I still want to like Mida Multitool, but it just does so little damage (granted, pre-exp version and not even fully leveled). I kept running out of ammo trying to take out the regular lv30 knights, let alone the yellow bar baddies. On that final run, I finally swapped back to Thorn, and while I'm not going to say that was the difference... we didn't fail, so. Infer what you must.
I had done it right before on my Titan and man, night and day. I definitely didn't do any carrying, we were both going through hell!
The Witches seemed way more aggressive with 2 of us.
And we were both 29 and I guess I didn't realize how much of a difference that makes for damage you put out and take. This might be a dumb question but does enemy health scale with more people? I solo'd it a few days ago on my Hunter and didn't have nearly that much trouble (at 29 at the time too).
That got me what I needed to get to 30 anyway; next week I'll have enough marks to buy a vendor chest and be able to get to 31 on my Hunter; Titan is already 31. Gonna clean up Mars missions and then get started on a Warlock.
Maybe if the next Iron Baggage event has 32 armors again I might actually get a character to 32 before the next dlc.
It doesn't help that I took off my maxed out level 30 armor in favor of that new level 32 armor; it means I was actually running less defense until I get it upgraded to the catch-up point.

I, being quicker of wit than Sir Tanith, notice the attack before it becomes fatal and leap off the balcony. In my excitement over Crota's death, I immediately blow my double jump and realize two things. 1) I'm in red health and 2) I'm now very high up and falling straight down. My legs shatter on impact, which prevents my death a few seconds later when the Oversoul explodes.
Total victory for the Super Pro Team Nuggets (plus Ringers)!
Yeah Nightfall is easy this week. Knocked the nightfall and weekly out three times each in two hours. It's way easier in Nightfall because Sekiron goes down much faster to burn dmg.
And the Nightfall gave me a Glasshouse with +127 (which is nice) and the other Nightfall gave me 9 coins, so now I've passed the 200 strange coins amount
Don't know what the third Nightfall will give me, that'll be for this evening.
Ran the first part of Crota HM with my Hunter along with @The Dude With Herpes and @Boozer , and at least one of them now has an Oversoul Edict :biggrin:
And damn you Rogue Legacy, for being free on PS+ and being so damn addictive
I got a 3rd Mida Multi-tool, 10 Ascendant energies (sigh), and The Calling scout rifle (actually not bad).
I too have hit the point of 'too many damn coins'. Over 100 for me. Guess I'll be ready for next time he has Gjallarhorn.
I got another Mult-Tool which means all of my characters get one, and I got a new Suros so I finally have a higher damage one for the next Iron Banner when that happens. I also got an Unwilling Soul which is the worst kind of gun, but the nightfall and weeklies went quickly this week.
I don't have a void damage fusion so that won't work.
Might want to go pick one up. There's a billion vendors in the tower that sell fusion rifles, and I'm sure one of them is void.
I actually don't think any of them sell a void fusion rifle. Personally, I knocked it out really quickly playing as a Defender with the Armamentarium, magnetic grenades (double up!), and Two To The Morgue (void shotgun that IS available from... the Vanguard vendor, I believe). Mine had a different perk to vendor default, but theirs is going to be just as good. If you're at all comfortable with shotguns, I recommend that setup.

I got the Word and also apparently went down to Crota's garage, because I came away with his bike and ship.
But the best was that Crota died a second before the Oversoul popped, so we actually joined him in death. Woo?
