And yeah, I'm kind of guessing the Yarn Yoshis might not be super rare. It seems like the kind of thing that is easier to manufacture than molded plastic (especially with all the fine details and stickers that have to be done by hand - for these you stick some googly eyes on them and you're done).
They're incredibly rare in Europe (thankfully I was able to preorder my special edition of the game) - though that might just because of Americans buying all of them since they won't be released there for a while.

I got Palutena and Zero Suit Samus today. That must be a bad photo or defective amiibo because mine looks fine. None of the hands of the female amiibos have been very good. Sausage fingers.

I like ZSS quite a bit. There's a little gap in her leg where the two shades of blue meet.
What I dislike the most is the big support that covers the entire back of her leg.
Palutena is very detailed. She doesn't look quite as good in photos because her nose is very fine and it doesn't show up. I think her face is very nice. Her hands are her weak point but they're not terrible.
The figure for Palutena looks like they tried to fit too many details but left the face kinda... plain? Like the accessories and hair look awesome but her face and hands...ugh

Her face is really tiny.... I don't think they could possibly fit all the much detail into it. Put her up next to Peach and her face is half the size.

On Friday I went to a local game store. They sell new and used retro games, game-related toys etc. It's a cool store but stuff is pretty expensive. They had Charizard, Wario, Pac-Man, Silver Mario, Splatoon amiibos, as well as amiibos from earlier waves (nothing super rare). I thought I'd pick up a Charizard or Wario to open but they were selling wave 4 amiibos for $19.99. Earlier wave stuff was $15. I posted about it on a Facebook group I'm part of and they defended the store saying that small stores need to charge more than big chains to cover costs and so on. It seems shady to me.
