Yeah, you got dinged by an extra island cost and/or the size of the box if it was boxed. I can use a pretty small bubble envelope for an unboxed amiibo, and it shouldn't cost more than $12 at the most.

Randomly found a Toys R Us with a huge cache of Samus amiibos. I don't know if they got a new shipment or what, but they had at least 20 on the shelves and I haven't seen any Samus in a couple months.

I think the only ones we're going for if we see them would be the Girl Inkling and if they were to reissue them I'd buy Wii Fit Trainer and I know the kid would pick up Lucario. I just wish they could get their act together.

Yeah, I might be done. Got my Robin, Lucina, Shulk, and Splatoon squids, plus the unexpected Charizard, Megaman, and Toon Link. The only others I sort of want I'll never find for normal retail price (Villager, WFT, Rosalina, and more than likely ZSS and Yarn Yoshi), so it's healthier to have it be a nice surprise should I stumble across some of them.
The Hori-brand question mark block case is on sale for $14.99 at Best Buy (normally $29.99) and there's a $5 off promo if you buy it alongside an Amiibo, meaning you can get it for $9.99 if you play your cards right.

Dang-o-darn, I really wish I needed Diddy Kong or a Smash Series Luigi. They both seem to be price reduced to $9.99, and would be $7.99 after the GCU discount. Then the question mark block, normally $29.99, is on sale for $14.99, and then it would be reduced to $9.99 for being purchased alongside an amiibo.
So pre-tax that's $17.98...and on top of that I have a $5 reward certificate to use, bringing the final price to $12.98 before tax, meaning it's essentially "Buy an Amiibo, get a Question Mark Block case free" ...but I already have both of those figures, bah. I guess I could toss either one up on eBay and sell it for near MSRP making the case nearly free, hmm.
The final kicker is that I have a Silver Mario that is outside of the return period by like 3 days...I could have easily returned that one and re-purchased it alongside the case to do the above transaction. Bah.

It looks really nice! Crisp paint, no obvious smudges, and lots of detail. There's even painted detail on the interior of his spellbook.
