Hey all,
just did some updating of Windows 7 Ultimate. Let it restart and after a bit of applying updates it decides to fail. I get the typical "failure configuring Windows updates Reverting changes" message.
Thing is, no matter what I do, I can't get past this screen. I've let it sit for over an hour, but nothings happening (no harddrive activity either). Tried hard reboot, safe mode, pleading and bargaining with it to no avail.
Any ideas on how to get past? Really don't want to have to reinstall if at all possible.
