Looking for a good eReader app and possibly something to edit PDFs.

Heya folks, here once again looking for some advice.

My girl's looking for a good program to run on her win8 machine that will read epub, mobi and other ereader file types.
I've seen a few extensions for browsers but reviews are mediocre with some critical functionalities missing (like page searching or even page enumeration! omg).

This one here seems like a legit program from most reviews:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, what about a program that can ready, edit and convert PDFs, short of Adobe's overly priced programs?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

It's open-source, it's free, and it's great for both organising ebooks and opening them from your pc/laptop/whatever/

I'd recommend using Google Play. You can upload your own ebooks to their cloud service and access it with any of your Android devices, or with any browser.

I have a Win8 tablet and use the Book Bazaar Reader metro app for my ebooks - so much better than the kindle app, and handles all the major ebook formats.
