excel rotate data?!?!?!

So this is something that there must be a way to do in excel, but I have no idea how, and have allways just done it manually, but no I have alot of it to do.

I have some simple data in excel, a list of dates in a horizontal line (row 1) then underneath a list of corisponding values (in row 2) I want them to be in columns, so in column A, all those dates in the same order, and Column B, the corisponding values, in the same order. How do I got about doing it?

    copy- paste special - check the box marked transpose.

    I think that's what you're asking for.
