    Speaking of portal papercraft...

    http://tubbypaws.blogspot.com/2007/10/this-is-my-little-paper-tribute-to.html
I found the best way to
make it was to print it out on a sheet of A4 card
or thick paper and then shrink my self down to
the same size and use a small army of worker
puppies to assemble it. if you can't find worker
puppies or shrink your self down to size then
stare at the print out before you go to bed and
you can dream that you made it and wake up
    feeling happy and refreshed.

    Sounds easy!

I'll make my ususal plaintive request for when a papercraft thread shows it's face.

Any chance the patterns for these have appeared on the interweb anywhere?

    _TWW_Papercraft2.jpg

The things I would do to get those patterns...

One day they shall be mine. One day.

So far no, they were only released in a Japanese Gamecube magazine, and I've never been able to find a scan anywhere.

And with this new papercraft, put it right back.

    /cast Thread Necromancy Rank 4

    So check this out.

I discovered today that the guy that did this works in my office.

    2840880289_bf0328e8a5.jpg

That's one of the faction ships from EVE. This isn't the guy who did the other EVE ships, he made this himself custom, and is working on a Kestrel.

That's the only papercraft Firetail in existence. I took a close look at it, he does some cool stuff. He'll make multiple layers of paper, to make things more detailed. (IE, he'll print out a copy of a raised panel, and then just glue that on top of the basic ship, just to raise it up slightly) The effect is really cool.

I still make papercraft! It's fun.
Oh hey, I have the pattern for the Hand from Wind Waker if you still want it, Jam. If you read this. I actually think it's one that someone made to look exactly like it rather than the actual pattern, but like I said it looks like it and the chances of finding any of those (and others by the same people) are elusive as hell.
Although someone did find the Mega Man bust that they made, so there is hope!

This looks interesting, I may give it a try someday. I got my eye on that Starcraft seige tank, too. I didn't know papercraft could be so detailed!

I think I'm going to give the Ecuadian Warhawk a shot. Never done a papercraft before ever. My overwhelming love for the game and the badass asthetic of the craft makes me want to take a stab at it.

it's a tough one. Started it yesterday and worked on it for four hours on and off I'm almost done with the first page. you may want to try one of the simple Mario ones first to get the basics down

He has a website which has broken links to the Wolf Link PDFs and the Rapidshare backups. It seems like the Midna RS Backup is working fine. So anyone have a backup of Wolf Link?

Every time I've tried the Rapidshare link this past few days it's timed out and not worked. As soon as I read your post it decided to work. That's some nice voodoo you got working there, thanks.

For those of you who want to get into papercrafting, the Cubee site is a good place to start. They're super simple to cut out and put together, but they're still pretty cool looking in their own way. Plus, they have just about every subject from old school comic books to Venture Bros. to real people. Plus they're the ones who did the papercraft for the RSPOD Contest.

I'm currently folding together Wall-E from cubee, but I'm interested in projects that require a little more skills after this.

A quick google netted me two fun blogs:

http://papercraftparadise.blogspot.com/ loads of random stuff, some are pretty simple, others are insane

    http://www.pokemonpapercraft.com/ gotta catch em all!
