QQ Bangs also aren't just the exact stats on the clothes
You'll mostly get the same stats if you use clothes of the same set, but if you mix them you can get all sorts of crazy stat combinations and there seems to be some randomization to it
Even using two pieces from the same set, you can sometimes get stat layouts that are better than you would have gotten from equipping the clothing set
Just started, but behold the majesty that is...BROKU.
Can't decide if my headcanon places him as a distant future descendant of Goku and Mr. Satan, or if he's just some future D-bag like Satan that actually has fighting chops.

I hear that you can import save from Xenoverse 1? Is there anything really worth reinstalling the game to get before i start Xenoverse 2?
The imported character makes a few appearances, and gets a monument. You also get to start with most of the skills and items that character was currently equipped with. Not souls.
Trying to decide if the import is worth either waiting for the game until I'm comfortable with getting the PS4 I know I eventually want, or going off and getting the PS4 soon.

I am really loving how they're using the movie villains in this game.

At level 33 I have yet to spend a single attribute point because I'm still not totally sure how I want to build
I went with the skinniest Frieza, so either way it's gonna be some combination of Ki Supers and Basics
EDIT: I forget, does the change your appearance wish allow you to alter height and body type? I'm actually thinking that maybe going with the middle body type would be best

Off hand I want to say the wish lets you completely remake your character from scratch. Change genders, race, whatever. But I don't remember for certain.

I never used it because I got it right the first time in XV1 (Tallest, swolest Human)
Edit: Also, was reading that the current level cap is 80, and you end up with 332 attribute points. So 32 more than XV1
Race-things are still wobbly. They're likely being adjusted as we speak, as patches will be coming. It doesn't help that the ingame-descriptions can basically be dismissed as either uninformative or misleading.
One of the big changes is that male majin's damage-reduction is now active as long as they have Stamina above a certain threshold, two blocks in the beta at least. But they also take more damage than normal otherwise. Female damage-reduction is smaller, but always active. Female majin also recover faster from stamina-break, except when they're affected by a bug with Purification.

Yes, the body-sliders work, I used that wish a couple of times in the last game.
One thing I did in XV1 which I found amusing was that my masters were in this order:
Piccolo > Vegeta > Cell > Ginyu > Freeza > Goku > Beerus > Elder Kai > Krillin
Yes, I had Krillin become my master after I trained under Freeza and the fucking GOD OF DESTRUCTION AND GOKU!
Krillin was actually my favorite character in the original Dragon Ball Z from the 90's when I started watching it. I was all, this little guy is standing up to Nappa, Vegeta, Dadoria, and Freeza and he's the only human?
Badass.
Go little guy!

edit- Speaking of Mentors. Man, Nappa has been the most... surprisingly supportive mentor out there. He gives you credit where credit is due, gives you mad props for getting a Z rank and encourages you when you get less than stellar marks.
I expected him to be an asshole.
Yamcha on the other hand was depressing. The entire time he just sounds like, "Why are you even my student?!"

Wow...online play is just as terrible as I remember. With the added bonus that I can't seem to quit when the game is all lagged out. Seriously...start button does nothing.

Does anyone know if there's more variety in strike supers this time? I remember them being few and far between last time...
This is also due in part to how hard it is to land most it's now
Yea before I could just dump supers and ultimates pretty easy on the PC... seem to be getting more glancing hits with ki supers/ultimates.
Go full Stamina and Basic Attack, and use Krillin's Rise to Action skill
You pretty much gotta combo into big things.
Me and my best pal Lil Green!
Also, yeah the AI certainly got a bit of an upgrade. Had my ass thoroughly handed to me by a Kaioken Goku in a random PQ.
Combos don't stagger them nearly long enough
That said, Giant Storm is still amazing for tracking

But so far all those moves have been trash so I haven't really experimented with them
My go to it has been Giant Storm
My favorite was Cell. "I'd totally hug you if that was something I did!"
The AI has gotten a lot better in this one, some real challenges that don't feel cheap.
