What your Game of the Show? Since it is always hard to so I did a top 3.
Tumblestones - A simple match 3 game where you face three other opponents. Clear your board as fast as possible to win. Games were quick (The longest being around 2 minutes it seemed, shortest 15 seconds), controls were simple and it was just good fun.
Orcs Must Die: Unchained - Really loved this game, can't wait to play it some more.
Dog Sled Saga - A little game tucked inside the Indie Minibooth. I don't know why but something was just really fun about this game.
There were tons more games out there that I enjoyed playing and looking at but these three stayed with me.
Runner up would be Just Shapes and Beats. Never played it but watched it for a long while, looked and sounded amazing.
Just Shapes and Beats was really great, would be awesome to have for parties. The game I think I'm going to get the most play out of though is Cards and Castles - a combination CCG/tactical battle game that just struck a perfect chord with me. 20XX and Rive were also excellent.

I come for the video games. But as a console gamer I was largely disappointed. Sony skipped the show all together, Microsoft only had stuff I've seen or played already, and Nintendo didn't have anything I was really looking forward to.
If I had to pick one game that impressed me I'd say Dreadnaught. The game looked gorgeous and I liked the idea of giant spaceship battles in a team deathmatch setting. Too bad I'll never play it because I doubt it'll ever come to consoles (same for Infinite Crisis).
Pacman Battle Royal. It looked like I was dominating but it beat me in the end. I must get my revenge somehow.
Did you play Amplitude before hand? Or do you look rhythm games? I am still cross with you for the second round you know!
I only played Amplitude a little bit at the Harmonix booth after the first round. I got the hang of it quickly right after I played. I think I was lucky enough to win Suspend in round 3. I had never played Suspend before hand and was lucky when the other team rolled my last color piece.
I definitely need to check out Brawlhalla, but for me the find of the convention was 20XX. I bought a code and have played the hell out of it already. Can't wait until they add internet-based multiplayer.
While I agree that being insensitive is an issue, so is being oversensitive.
It was awesome playing as an FPS hero against a good RTS villain. It really felt like the NPCs were out to get you, and not just another predictable AI.
I didn't get to play very many demos because I have a bit of an aversion to lines, but I have to say I was surprised at how fun Overwatch was. Played the demo with a couple friends really just to get the pin, but had an amazing time and I really can't wait to dig into the release (or beta if I get lucky).
OH! and as far as tabletop games go, Bravest Warriors Encounters took the chocolate puppy cake. SOOOOO much fun was had with that in the hotel room over drinks, let me tell you.
DREADNOUGHT was amazing - it definitely was my game of the show.
In the spirit of PAX East, I should also select a top indie. There were so many good ones, but I really had fun with MASQUERADA and thought it had a cool style.

The art style for Masquerada was amazing. I really wanted to play it but it was always full when I stopped by the booth.
So much fun that half our table top group went out and bought the deck, and a few others would've bought a deck too, but the only shop carrying it ran out.
While I'm probably biased as a Kickstarter backer for the game, my far and away favorite this year was Amplitude. Just absurdly fun to play, especially when I got to try a solo demo station with headphones so I could really get into the groove. Definitely didn't hurt that the line was never very long, so I found myself dropping by often throughout the show to play again and again.
Also, while I didn't play this year, I loved seeing Divekick at the Iron Galaxy booth for the third year running as well as a second Divekick tournament. If DanQ is any indication it's still winning new fans!
Overwatch was way more fun than I expected and its the first blizz game im really stoked for in like....a real long time. Played better than I expected. Super excited for more of it. Glad I got both pins for it but a tad sad I didnt leave with a beta code.
Also Thornwatch. Was in the first unguided playtest at prepax board game night and though we screwed up quite a bit it was super fucking fun. Very excited for more of it and wish it could only come sooner

Loved Gigantic by Motiga. Also liked White Night (which was already out, but...loved it. Bought it as soon as I got home), Tumblestone, and Worlds of R.E.M.
Moon Hunters was one of my favorites - the characters felt impressively awesome, and the choice voting mechanic seemed really interesting.
Also loved Adventures of Pip, Runbow, and Cards and Castles (which I've now been thoroughly sucked into on my phone). And Amplitude, but not sure if that counts, since I already knew I loved it from the PS2 game. In the tabletop area, the games that made the biggest impression were Adorable Pandaring, Unknown, and Time-Cross Arena.

Several of my friends got a bunch of keys for it so we'll all be playing it together through Steam.

Mini Metro was my favorite Indie game. Within seconds of starting and figuring how it works I fell in love.
