I love the flame tank, but it's not nearly as effective in open fields as the breakthrough tank. It kills in amiens tho. People hiding in buildings do NOT like the flames..... so much fun.

I would have thought the tank-hunter landship would have weapons that were designed for fighting other tanks (i.e. explosive rounds). I do know that there is a heavy tank variant that has the side-turrets equipped with just machine guns...but I'm not positive which one that is.

Jesus man the whole dynamic of the game changes when then fog rolls in.
I was just playing on Empire's Edge and it was gunfire and tanks and explosions and waves of guys smacking against C and D and then all of the sudden it gets fucking quiet. You occasionally hear pops of gun fire or screams and then you unload on a passing silhouette. Just intense and crazy and amazing.
Also, apparently attack plane bombs don't damage the dreadnought?

The drivers gun should be strong AT but not much splash. The side guns not sure
Okay, just popped into an empty server and here's what I found: default heavy tank side gunners all have machine guns that are just machine guns (not explosive round autocannons, not full-bore cannons, just regular heavy machine guns), and the rear gunner gets a snazzy twin machine gun turret.

Sweet Jesus this aim bug is infuriating. I never noticed it because I've been playing assault the last 38 hours of playtime. It seems random when it decides to start and stop working.
Spawn. Aim, shoot. Revive a guy. Try to aim, can't. Can't shoot a guy 30m in front of me. Die.
Noticed it with the model 10A Slug too. Tried to aim... Nothing. How is this not a huge issue?

This seems to happen with revives, a quick fix is to switch to a sidearm and then back to your primary weapon, of course you dont always have the luxury of time when a medic revives you in the middle of a really hectic combat scene

That was the same round my medal vanished and couldnt select a new one. I needed 7 more vehicle kills to complete it and i blew up way more than 7 that round. It was stellar! Spent all but the last 50 ticks in my tank with only 2 deaths overall. Really wanted to see how many dudes i obliterated.

Yea I'm definitely at the point where I have the gameplay down and love it. The menu shenanigans are getting really irritating because they're starting to really become intrusively irritating. Being stuck on the same medal for 3 weeks is really irritating. I had a new glitch today where a medic revived me just as my timer expired and I still went back to the spawn selection screen. For the rest of the round, whenever I died I got no UI on my death screen. Could t see who killed me, how long the respawn timer was, nothing. Just a nice clean cinematic view of my corpse.
I'm having fun with this game... but man, the bugs... some bugs that have been around (and fixed!) Since BF3... they are really chipping away at my fun... Random UI bugs, revive bugs ect... so so many...

That thing pours bullets out so fast it's rediculous!
Im not an accurate shooter. So with the shotgun, a lot of times ill wiff my first two shoys while frantically trying to hit the guy right in front of me. If i happen to live long enough to land the 3rd or 4th shot, ill get him. But the automatico lets me just spray and prey. Ill usually kill the person, but nimble opponets will still live past all 25 rounds and either escape or take me down.

I've settled on the mp18 optical for now with the shotgun for close maps like Argonne. I also find myself getting more kills with the AT grenades against infantry than against tanks. The AT mines are gold against tanks.

Even if you are an accurate shooter, the random pellet spread with the shotguns will mean that you'll miss the first one or two shots even while lined up to the guy right in front of you. The only way I could see missing someone while you're dead on is ADS. It gets weird with ADS. Hipfire, though? You'll be laying those scrubs down in a flurry of buckshot.

And I'm not sure if lag would be the culprit here...I mean, this has happened when the relative lateral motion between me and target is zero (I'm directly behind the guy, and surprise him with a shotgun to the spine). Packet loss...I'm not too sure on that one, but I haven't had an issue with packet loss in BF1 so far (excepting for when I join in on PA folks or join whatever server the Neebs Gaming Twitch stream is on, I'm always just hitting the Quickplay button and let matchmaker decide the best server for me).

I've had the pellet spread go right around a target also. I saw, literally saw, them miss. The guy was dead center to the reticle under a bridge in Amiens and when I pulled the trigger I SAW the dust from the background behind him where all the pellets went. That was infuriating. On the other hand, I've 1 shot guys 10m+ away. So there's that too.
