I would just sue him then, to be honest.
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat
ya dingus
This whole Iris-Barry-will-they-won't-they has to fucking stop
And I feel like the introduction of the Linda character is the writers realizing that it has to stop, and trying to stop it
At least, I hope it is

Except that Linda is (at least in the comics) the wife of Wally West, Iris's cousin who will be appearing on the show in the near future.
The second half of that episode was just non-stop crazy
Considering the liberties that the Arrowverse has taken with characters already, I'm not sure this matters.

Doctor: I'm sorry, visitation is family only.
West: Excuse me? Him being Singh's fiancee MAKES them family.
Doctor: Oh, of course! No problem

Fact is he has changed quite notably in that time span. It doesnt excuse his harassment but this accusation looks like a purposeful attack on his livelihood which is just as bad. Like where was this twitter rant when down set fight released? Or any of his other comics?
Or when he was nominated for an Eisner?
She waited until he got a major gig to try and tank his career and thats pretty scummy to me.
She mentions that Marvel called her before her Punisher story came out, saying she should lay low because of all the hate she was getting online
hate that was partially (mostly) caused by the person they're now employing
I thought he just called him his boyfriend before, and may have gone "oh they got engaged! that's wonderful!" at the TV screen.
*tugs duct tape*
"I'm gonna rip your whole beard out."
They were always engaged IIRC
Like, I/we knew all of those plot events were coming
but all at once and there's still 8 more episodes left in the season
yknow what, you're right
because the original line, thinking about it, was something to the effect of "my fiancee wants me to eat better, so i have to burgers at work so he won't see them"
for some reason i thought they were only dating before

I didn't have as much of a problem with Season 1 as some people did but BOY has there been a change for the better
I don't think so
I also hope they don't erase it. Arrow's shown that having family/close ones know their identities is so much more fun

I never knew I wanted this until this moment.
Mogo trying to convince people he's a "cool regular guy teenager" would be amazing.
Why I fear the ocean.
Jaime Reyes opens his backpack, finds a single deuce-deuce bottle of Smirnoff Ice
suddenly a shadow falls over his entire classroom, and as he turns, the sentient planet hanging in the sky says "BROS ICING BROS, BRO."
especially the folks who seem decent today, it is often their past experience that gives them such insight into the modern generation of cyberbullies
still, it always sucks to hear about people suffering, especially to the point of ptsd
can't muster much sympathy for the effects this will have on chris sims' career, which is zero
I mean the sims case is not even rare or exceptional beyond the fact that both parties involved are popular writers known by the same names as when the bullying occured
the thought process described in sims' apology is not exotically malicious, someone writes stuff you don't like so you go into the comments and say they're an idiot. except also you have this conception of yourself as a Professional Journalist and the other person as your Rival who represents Everything That Is Wrong With Your Field so it's more sustained than that, and you have followers who also participate in it. you don't even consider it bullying, you think you're Doing Your Job
and then a couple years later you realize that woah, you were actually a total fucking asshole
but the damage has been done to the victim
This is absolutely the kernel of the problem here. Sims's apology offers nothing of what he originally said, while D'orazio's claim seems incredibly dramatic to stem from just one guy. There's clearly a much bigger thing at hand here (and like someone said, Sims probably unintentionally led a larger wave of criticism that devolved into some misogynistic BS), and it's not really possible for me to make a decision on this until we see more about how this happened over the years.
And yeah, 26 is definitely old enough to know better. And the idea that Sims is a really tried-and-true classic fanboy who got a thinking cap put on him when he was brought into Comics Alliance under Laura Hudson isn't too hard for me to believe.
"Protecting her from me?!"
Yes, from you
Someone who just days ago was vocally advocating KILL ALL SUPERHUMANS
I do like how it was immediately preceded by an outsider saying that SHIELD hasn't really changed much even without Hydra
Which y'know, is a fair concern.
Also, I kind of love Cisco now. He was consistently my favorite part of this episode. I couldn't stand him back in the pilot and wanted him gone. Good job convincing me, show
