What to do with that Wii Browser....

I'm just wondering if there's anywhere worthwhile to go to using the Wii Browser.

I know there's Wiicade, and I've been loving Missle 3D, Curve Ball, and Double Wires.

Earlier today, I heard about Wiisave in an earlier thread, which apparently makes using an SD card for your Wii not so pointless anymore.

And of course, Google Video/YouTube. ;)

Is there anywhere else that's meant for use with the Wii that we can share to enjoy our new browsers to their fullest?

    Hmm, honestly, the only "real" use I get out of it is when I have some people over drinking, and we get to the "dude, lets watch old music videos/funny shit on the INTERNETZ LOL"-drunk. Much better than 5 people huddled around a computer desk.

    Yeah. I've used it while watching TV with the family and we see some actor or something and we can't remember where we've seen them before. Also if we're watching sports and want to know some stat or something. I think this is really what Nintendo was going for with it anyway. It's really not meant to replace your computer for surfing.

    There are some cool games and such, as BTP eluded to. I have heard of Friilinks.com. Supposedly has some decent stuff, though I haven't really checked it out.

    There was a game called "3D Logic" on one of those Wii-only flash game sites. I played that until I destroyed it.
    I pretty much just play those flash games and watch videos on it.
    Salad Fingers on my big screen is fantastic.

    The best part of YouTube is the comments people make on videos. You'll have a video of a little girl singing her ABCs, and like 20 comments talking about how "the hore need to stfu and get off my intarnetz".

    I find youtube incredibly irritating but there are some excellent things to be found on it which are too comical to pass up (*cough*monkeyislandplay*cough*) and on occasions there are actually amusing videos to be found. I also like, after being at a festival, youtubing vids from it.

    The site's like a hub for a ton of things you can do. And right away you can play Sudoku and Duck Hunt. Totally bookmarking that on my Wii. Thanks!

    I'd probably use it if it didn't load slower than Battlefield 2.

    I have been using the wii browser a lot in the last week because my monitor died, and the other 2 computers in the house are often occupied. It's not the most ideal way to post on a forum, for sure, but I'm getting better at it. The new version is a big jump over the first one, too.

    It's a pretty convenient way to check GameFAQs quickly when you just can't figure out that one puzzle

    I've been unable to do anything online with the Wii without waiting a ridiculous amount of time for everything. Going to the Shopping Channel takes a good five minutes. I tried updating the Wii Browser the other day, and after an hour of watching the progress bar shlurp its way across my screen, I gave up and unplugged the thing, because there's no other way to abort an upgrade. Then I played Paper Mario. Nintendo fails at the internet.

    I'd think something was wrong with my connection if not for the fact that the 360 12" away gets a consistent 2.5Mb download rate.
