So endless legend is 50% off. and Endless space is 12 bucks from Humble Bundle. Which one is better steam thread?
Haven't played endless space myself but the impression I have gotten is that endless legend is the better game while space has some issues. However, endless space is also currently 80% of right now on steam which is cheaper than the humble bundle, even if you want the other games in bundle.
Release Notes [1.0.58]
Added a save and load system in multiplayer and auto save at the beginning of each floor. It also allows the host to reload a game with disconnected players. See Multiplayer Save part below for more details.

Researches are now shared between players on multiplayer
Added a new menu (top left corner or “P” shortcut) in multiplayer with the following features: Players can give heroes to the other players
Players can check the network ping state of each player
Players can still exchange resources
The host can kick players
Added an option on multiplayer which allows the host to choose between private (only by invitation – default), friends only, and public game
I am so excite! Multiplayer is so rad with a buddy. Previously, there was no save and it took like 4 hours to get through a game. I only did it once and have been waiting! WOO!
Thank you @akajaybay for hooking me up with Deep Dungeons of Doom as a result of the good ship USS U WOT M8 transforming from a spaceship into a group of atoms flying at high speed in all directions. The amount of work you put into the Steam Battles is amazing, and I'm glad we have folks like you here on the forums. One of my favorite parts of these forums are the community projects like this (I'm still waiting on the twelve day long December holiday marathon stream done by a single forumer, otherwise known as The 12 Days of @CorriganX-Mas though...)
Does anybody have any good suggestions for a wireless mouse (or KBAM pair) that works at a range of 10 feet?
Logitech G700 is great, should have the range you want while wireless, and converts effortlessly from wireless to wired and back.
Can confirm, the G700 is an awesome mouse. Range is great, battery life is solid (and it uses a single replaceable Ni-MH AA battery so you can swap out a new one if yours ever loses capacity), and it's super comfortable. The adjustable DPI buttons are nice to have if you find yourself switching between games and don't feel like changing settings on a game by game basis, and it has a ton of configurable buttons too.
I'm left handed and do all of my mousing with my left hand except for gaming, where I switch over to my right (a habit I gained when I was younger so that I could play on other people's machines without having to rebind everything, also WASD is more comfortable for me than the numpad), and although it is molded for right hand use it even has a comfortable left hand grip for non-gaming stuff.
It's a sturdy mouse, too. I'm still using the one I got from @minor incident almost a year ago and it has been a tank.

So legend turned out to be free this weekend and the UI is really bad. Tiny text with no context. Little important information presented and lots of info you don't need immediately is displayed. Are there any mods for that?

Are you having this trouble in the tutorial with the Wild Walkers?
Your country is now part of your Account Details, making it easy to purchase games and apps on Steam from anywhere. When you're signed in to Steam you'll be able to see prices and make purchases in your country's currency.
I have moved, how do I change my store country?
If you have permanently changed your country of residence, you can set your store country to reflect that. Go to your Account Details page and you'll find Store Country in the right column under Your Steam Account. Once you've selected your new country of residence, you'll need to verify it by using a local payment method tied to a local address for your next purchase.
For example:
Say you've recently moved to the United States. You'll now see United States as an option in the Store Country drop down. Selecting it will change your store to display products and pricing available in the United States. To verify your new country of residence, your next purchase will require a payment method tied to an address within the United States.
How do I make a purchase while travelling?
Your country is now part of your Steam account, so no matter where you travel, you'll see the store in your country's prices and be able to make purchases as you would normally.
..
What if I spend time in more than one country?
You can select any of the countries available in the Store Country drop down to view that country's available products and pricing. Your next purchase will require a payment method tied to an address within that country.
For example:
Say you live in France part of the year and in Vietnam the rest of the year. You can choose either as your Store Country as long as you have a local payment method.
This update apparently also broke sites that compare prices between different regions. At least for the time being.

Sounds similar to how iTunes handles it. Or at least handled it at the end of 2011. When I moved from the States back to the UK then it was interesting to see how different things handled it. iTunes did it pretty much as described there; I had to manually switch to the UK store and put in a UK payment method to confirm it. Pretty painless. Steam just displayed the UK store straight away and was happy to let me use my UK card right off the bat. Xbox Live was the worst; at that point Microsoft simply did not support accounts changing countries at all (except for a one-time, one-way, one-shot thing when they added a few countries, and it only worked for those countries) and were extremely vociferous in their press releases that this was basically impossible for them to do. Thankfully I already had a secondary UK account I'd used for grabbing a non-US demo once upon a time so I had to use that for buying things until MS quietly added the ability a while later. Impossible my ass.
But yeah, interesting to see how these different companies and services handle it. The new Steam method seems still pretty fair to me... just so long as it doesn't break things like non-region-locked games from Nuuvem, I'm good with it. It's probably all just to hinder people from VPN-ing to Russia and suchlike, like the increased region lock for countries like that, since the rouble crashed so hard.
While we were chatting about it, I had already downloaded and launched DotE.
I doubt it will get played, though. I'm still hip deep in Mordor.
One of the things I really like about DotE is that it is pretty easy to pick it up, play a floor and then come back. Makes it great for taking a break from another game

I have t gotten through it yet. Just had time to load it up and start looking at things. But I am definitely having "small text" issues.

I tended to catch up on shows on Hulu on the other monitor and then open a door or two on commercial breaks. Other than having a vastly inflated play time it worked out great.

I only have Endless Legend, but I'll do what I can.
Dungeon of The Endless is less than 1gb DL and free weeekend

I suppose in the name of cool stoof I can hit that up. Does it just need to be launched? Or does it need to run for a while?
I wonder if you were to boot up DotE because of the free weekend, would it count
SteamID: edgruberman GOG Galaxy: EdGruberman
From what they said it sounds like you just need to boot it up but I may be wrong.
Well, yeah that's the point. They want new people to try the game.
The exact words from the event are
so it looks like you just need to boot them up

Makes sense. I bet it would be really annoying for them if they put in all the work of adding new heroes and they didn't get unlocked.

I imagine it would be Dungeon of the Endless or Endless Legend since they are the free games this weekend.
I won't be able to make it either due to work or monthly board game night.
