Hobgoblin is pretty fun. I've been putzing around with Savjz's Eboladin, currently 3/3 against two Oils and a Mech Mage (she landed two firestorms and I still won).
Favorite play: Drop Mukla and max their hand size, then follow with a Divine Favor for seven cards.

I did that a while ago with my Malygos druid. It'd work better if I had two bites, but it did pretty good work regardless, and it's nice even to have as a 1-mana spell to work with Malygos on turn 10 (even without any attack 1 mana 5 damage is pretty good).

There ya go, MNC. Go heavy spell damage with all the good spells from Druid. Win with Shades and a couple big guns.
So I'm thinking that control rogue might become a thing. The slower Oil Rogue decks are already pretty controlly. Gang Up might be just enough to enable complete control rogueness.

So does BM first wing go up at 12 [your time], 12 [Blizz time], or just some random time during the day when they decide to activate it?
Naxx was 12am blizz time in each zone. So for NA it's 12am at whatever time they operate on (EST?). I think that makes it about 29 hours from this post?

I don't see mech rogue very often. Like, once every other day or something. But every time I do this sort of crap happens.
The deck is part value sweeps, part oil, and part random bullshit plays. I see it about once a day, like you said.
I like it more than Oil because it can still land a bunch of nifty oil plays, but doesn't have that "Man, I really shouldn't have played that one card six turns ago" problem. It's not as strong, but it's more fun IMO.

I've got a fun and fairly consistent Mech Rogue deck. Some key tech cards are conceal (to guarantee sensei value), the mech weapon, and a few of the one mana rogue spells (weapon poison and the +attack one) plus spare part generators plus gazlowe.
Apparently being a silver hand knight puts you in the top 7% of ranked players. That's nice to know, but what I *really* want to see is a history of how I ranked in each season.

The card back actually convinced me to not preorder because it looks so bad. Easily the worst card back in the game.
I'm just using gold like for Naxx. This time I don't have it banked already on both regions but at worst I get the last 2 wings a little later on NA. I only need the new Druid beast there anyway.

He's amazing in Oil Rogue, but that's sort of it. He's just very niche now.
You can probably still make a case for putting him in shaman. Basically a third azure drake that's easier to use with storm.
