I really hope the retail version will fix some of the pathing issues, but I'm not holding my breath since I assume they're inherent to the engine and that probably isn't being worked on for HotS.
Officially the unluckiest CCG player ever.

It's against the law to have good pathing in a MOBA.

It's the terrain that is the worst. Click slightly too far and instead of going towards the terrain your character decides to run away from it to go around it.
It's killed me at least a dozen times on Falstad or Sylvannas or the like.

Fuck those greenhouses on Garden of Terror.
Every time my character mysteriously slows down moving around a corner or something I die a little inside.

also frequently die on the outside. I forget where on garden I was, but my path made me turn around twice in row on a corner today.
HL game on Blackheart's. I picked Zagara to creep up the turn-in spot, so we'd have vision whenever they tried to drop coins in. Had a pretty great early game, but then things started to fall off toward the mid-game, and actually started to swing back in favor of the enemy team near level 20, thanks to them catching a few of us out of position and scoring easy turn-ins. I started taking boss up top as my team was pushing way too hard on the enemy top lane. I figured they'd back off when they hit resistance, then come back to me to help finish off the boss. Which is exactly what happened. Enemy team saw this coming from a mile away, so they were maybe 10 seconds behind the rest of my guys. I could see them coming with creep I'd laid down, so when they dog-piled through the smoke to gank us, I caught them in a full 5-man Maw just as our team was securing the boss.
Ended up wiping them, then pushing with the boss to win while they were down. Everyone on the team was like, "Great Maw, Zags!" and "You just won us the game with that!"
Felt fucking good, man. Such a great feeling when you're appreciated for a play.
it is hilarious how hard tlv counter murky. they can kill puffer instantly, they can kill him instantly with q whenever he goes to attack, longboat isn't affected by slime so takes no damage at all from him.
just played against tlv/nova/illidan/zera/sylvanas aka all team attack speed and instaburst murky down. worst game i've ever played in hots.
edit: and then finally going to win my first stupid game of the day and blizzard's servers shit a brick and i get 1 frame every 5 seconds and throw the match totally. thanks.

From my understanding (though small), Sonya, Jaina, and Hammer being free are going to lead to some interesting happens as none of them are "easy" and all have a bit of a trick to them.
Thrall is very ability dependent. His auto attack is among the slowest in the game. He's not an auto attacker. You need to always be using abilities always.
When he was first released he was super broken due to having Battle Momentum and being extra spammy on abilities. They removed Battle Momentum and that fixed him. Now he's pretty middle of the road. He's a solid performer.
I've seen a few good Thralls and a lot of really terrible ones. But that's true for any character.
In my opinion, they should not have given Thrall CL. They should have saved that spell and given us an elemental shaman character later down the road.
Chain Lightning is still decent for taking down runners at low health but that's about it. You can see the talents they put in to make a CL build work but it's damage is just too pathetic to make that at all viable.
They probably should replace it with something else for him to hit people at range with/take out minion waves with. And then make an Caster-type Shaman later.

In my fever dreams, I imagine replacing chain lightning with a totem of some sort. And likewise a future caster shaman having a different totem.
Yeah, the 1st color option for Angelic Valla is great. Option 2 and 3 are garbage.

I used to really like Garden of Terror before folks started doing the optimal running between lanes dropping pots. It's like damn Benny Hill now chasing those damn things around. Very frustrating.

ya, that's not so fun. But because of the speed boost, and that the pot does more dps to structure then just hitting them it's the best way to go.
It might make for a more fun map if the pot lasted longer/had more health, had a longer cooldown, and then didn't do dmg to structures. Then there would be an incentive to just siege one area.
Though that might just make it too similar to the dragon knight.

Hopefully Johanna doesn't have some form of Steed Charge as her Z to make me feel dumb for making this call...

Nope, not doing that at all.

Her big issue is that she doesn't have a cool hat like Vampire Hunter Valla.

Wait, what? Her W build is still extremely good though?
Not sure where you're getting this idea from.

It's still fine, but it's not broken tier anymore so I can't use it to be good at a character I'm not good on.
