it's cooler when you put your number on freerebelart
its the same number you call that calls you but you have to say the password it gives you, then it gives you a different speech telling you how fucked you now are
Wait, so how do you get this message?
The one I received fits the description that you gave for getting another one. I was told that I was under surveillance and that I was conspiring against America. Getting there I had to put in my phone number and say "Resistance" as the password. Is there a different password that gives another message then?

wait what? freerebelart gave you a message that told you how to get to the one i described is what youre saying?
Oooh nevermind, the way you worded it by saying "its cooler" I thought that maybe there was something you did that gave you another message better than the basic one which is already "cool." My bad there, carry on.
Edit: Calling them back directly does do something too though, but I think it was actually the same message but without the site alerting you as well.
Okay, we're on the same page now. I didn't see that you were replying to Critical when he said that he called the USBM number on the back of the CD. This was something I actually did earlier because it is the same number as the freerebelart one and I simply called them back after getting the site message. But yes, you are right in saying that it is cooler when you actually go to freerebelart and go through the process there.
I'm only on track 9 of the CD so far, and I'm impressed. I'm gonna wiki the ARG stuff on my second playthrough. I loved The Downward Spiral, and everything before that, including all the weird Broken, Fixed whatever cardboard sleeve remix stuff that was being realeased way back when. Pretty Hate Machine...
My sister knows the Reznor family. Somehow she got connected with Trent's parents in Mercer, PA through the marketing agency she works for in Slippery Rock. They're both small towns about 1/2 an hour apart, north of Pittsburgh. I dunno if she ever met him personally, but she loves to blast his music on her overpriced bose system-of-the-month.
EDIT: The clusterfuck of sound at the end of The Great Destroyer and the transition into Another Version is fucking brilliant. I love it when Trent presses a thousand buttons at once. The song is so goddamn joint-worthy.
Its funny, I started TAFE for the year on the day that the first sites went up and it all began. so I logged into the computers that morning, and thought I'd check ets before I stated working. I saw a threa with a few posts, something about a shirt and website. I had no idea what it was, but I came back to it a few minutes later and figured out what was going on. There went the idea of getting any work done that day.
Yeah, I'm not gonna say that the fragile was a bad album, since the majority of people dug it and it got pretty universal praise
I just didn't feel it
but then my favorite album was broken, so i dunno
i listen to nin for the noise and chaos and loudness and angry parts. Reznor's introspective, angsty, sad slow songs fall flat for me, and the fragile was mostly an album full of that

yeah
interesting way to blend the Year Zero with the now

i only got the call that was the password one

I'm about to start working on a list of all the different ARG sites and I haven't seen that one.
Although it is easier to read the transcript here:

i really like the song: the warning
STEAM!
dude, seriously, everything is listed on the main page of ninwiki
and you're missing quite a few
Yeah, I didn't know about that site before.
I'll just condense it down to the ninwiki instead. Thanks.
that should be your next stop
it is my favorite so far
http://www.gracetheteacher.net/
It's all of their information, just condensed and organized rather than chaotically scattered throughout a forum
"Hey! I'm better at this science stuff then you thought."
also, the ninwiki is all ets work, I believe.

i'd been interested in hearing the new material since the fragile and with teeth were such disappointments for me
i found the song linked on ets and started following the arg
