Though running such a game without spoiling the books could be difficult but an important issue for you to consider.
I'm kind of aiming for an awesome clusterfuck.
With the rules/roles I've drawn up so far there are a few minor spoilers for the first book built into it, but I've done my best to avoid them while staying true to the themes of the books. I've got some time to work on it.
My game won't be mad scientist themed(for reals this time!). Its going to be set in a city during the near-future and based around a world war between 2 major super-alliances, the Evarial Alliance and the Oceania Coalition.
It will be an OC city, with EA spec ops trying to infiltrate it and cause destruction.
If there was a consistent thread that announced that a Phalla sign-up was now ACTIVE, and not by editing the OP.
I tend to overuse my "User Control Panel" these days more than anything, rather than actually click into individual forums. Hence, I missed the supers Phalla - abloobloobloo.
I don't want to be too dismissive of your request, but it seems to me that the existence of the sign-up thread suffices as notification for the vast majority of players. If you take a look at the ODaM thread list just once a day whenever the current game is wrapping up, it's hard to miss out unless we're talking about a small game.

Unless I think of something better, put me down for Disgaea: Phalla of Darkness.
Doing something crazy instead of another dark-themed one seems like a good change of pace.
(Or better yet, a little of both.)
Mechanic-wise, this might be putting myself from the frying pan into the fire.
But at least there's plenty of roles to hand out.
From what you've said of your game I don't really think it's what I meant by Phalla Classic tm brand games. My intent with them was classical rules with only small changes that weren't known before going in.

Nah, I was going for the Classic feel. I plan on changing something in every version if only so nobody really knows everything that's going on and give people the room to BS things if they're so inclined.

I am thinking of having it involve political debates in the future, and involving clones of presidential candidates of the past. That said, I'd need help with mechanics, and fun political candidates of the past. I have several in mind already.

I can give the rules an look over if you like. I'm pretty busy this month so I'm unlikely to be running (or doing much helping in the running of) anything until July or so.
I'm thinking of starting signups tomorrow, since it looks like Larry's is almost done. Since I want a lot of people I will have signups open till sunday night which pm roles should be sent out and monday would be the first day.
I would like to sign up to run a phalla, not sure on the specifics yet but for now I think it's going to be a mobster type game. Since that list seems mighty long it will probably be a while before I need to be ready to run it ;p
Only if you promise to spell it correctly in the game thread.

Assuming ~7-10 days for the next few games, I will be leaving for Scotland when the next game is halfway done, and getting back near the end of the game after that. So I'm dropping two games down. PK has already said he's ready to run. Are you ready to go after him, DarkPrimus?
