Oh hey, decided to look at the codex entries for the Bursas, the denial bursa drops Astral Twilight, and the Isolator Bursa drops tempo royale. So if you missed those tactical alerts, get farming I guess? Drover drops life strike I suppose.

Oh gawd, I want all of those things. How long is this event going to be active for?

Wednesday, I think, unless they decide to extend it a little because of the complete shitshow that was the first day and a half.

Ugh! This fucking event. Even when things are working it's possibly the least fun even barring they've invented so far.

    1. You're vulnerable to trolling, idiocy, bugs...oh. AND YOU FUCKING SENTINELS.
    2. Beyond that you need to know exactly what to do to have a decent chance of success. You didn't bring the right gear/abilties? Well, bohoo. Another piece of gear down the drain.

If it wasn't for the fact that I really really want the Impact mods I would just call this one off and spend my weekend doing something fun instead.

Barring fuckups bringing sentinels and kubrows that attack, or people that accidentally kill it, the best thing to do is bring a Trinity and use her 1 ability over and over and over and over and over and over until the transaction is complete. Bring some energy restores.

And even after putting in the time to do it, there's still a pretty decent chance that it'll just bug out and not give you the reward for no reason. This is without a doubt the worst event they've ever done. And considering some of the events they've inflicted on us before, that's really saying something.

So... can anyone give me a quick how-to guide to beating this event and getting all the rewards I could want in the least time possible? Mind, if one of the optional rewards is Life Strike, then I really, really do want that too. But it's also not an event-only thing, I guess? Hm.

The quickest way to do the actual event rewards is to buy the Humble Offerings then murder the Bursa MOA the moment it finishes the transfer. I'm under the impression these are the riot MOAs they were talking about, so even if they disappear after the event, I do believe they'll be back in at a later date.

Anyway, if you see me around, I'll be happy to join you. I think I finally got this event figured out for the most painless way to do it.

Oh, also, if you run with a scaled UI, don't. It breaks the progress bar.

DO NOT kill it the moment it finishes the transfer. You absolutely 100% need to wait for it to start verifying. Or else you fail.

Let me rephrase that: Murder the Bursa MOA the moment* it finishes the transfer.

    * After you get stunlocked, killed, get the MOA to step away from the wall since it's invincible from the front, and chew through its 16,777,216% damage reduction from armor.

    Reddit has done some experimentation.
Credits do not change as you get more points. Credits depends on how big your offering was and how long you let the verification process run.

Shorter verification time = More points
Longer Verification time = more credits

I don't mean more points per mission, I mean more points for the operation as a whole. The 1.08 credit multiplier for the cost of the offering seems to fluctuate slightly, it's not dependent on verification time like points are, verification seems to have zero impact on anything other than points, on a 1 for 1 basis.

Some folks are saying that the more points you have overall for the operation, the higher the level of bursa you get will be, and the more credits. I didn't find that to be true, but perhaps it's because I only have 5k so far.

That mechanic of the event is kind of cool, makes it a decent way to farm credits with the 100k offerings if you are so inclined, or rush it for event progress.

The rest of the way the event is set up? Not so much. It is a highly annoying enemy design that requires very specific warframes to be of any use and the way the event plays out makes it too easy for pubbies to screw the whole thing over intentionally or unintentionally. The transfer progress takes far far far too long for something so easily bugged up with no reward. The increasing enemy level based on how much event progress you have makes it harder for anyone that didn't grind it out the first day because if you end up in a game with someone who is almost done every enemy in the level might be 2-3x the actual mission level and you die like a paper bag in a hurricane.

Event exclusive rewards need to be entirely cosmetic so I can completely ignore shit events like this. But as it is, dammit I want the rewards but the event is making me hate playing the game.

The only specialist frame it really requires (IMHO) is either Volt or Frost in order to shield yourself from the Bursa itself.
Other frames help though. Valkyr/Loki/Excalibur makes the stunning process faster (Paralysis, radial disarm and Radial blind all stun the Bursa. Although really everyone should bring an Amphis. The slam attack has a pretty good chance of stunning the Bursa and it copters like mad). Bringing a Trinity or Oberon is a pretty good idea. Vauban can really help with the inevitable incoming enemies.

Still. Unfun event. Would probably be more fun if there were clannies to share my pain :P

In addition to the game occasionally just not giving me the reward for a successful run, I also ran into a few bugged Bursa MOAs that could not be stunned, requiring a mission abort. There's also a fun bug with their knockdown attack that can cause your character to get stuck lying on the ground permanently.

Basically what I'm saying is that Digital Extremes is pretty good at making video games, you guys.

Just prey you don't get a limbo on a high level run. In two tries most of us burned all our revives because the dude kept banishing the guys watching the flank or doing cataclysm on mobs and not killing them. It's kinda the Devils choice, keep the flanks clear so the squad doesn't get rolled up or stay half blind on a rift so you don't have unkillable moa's popping randomly popping out of a rift and murdering everyone.

I honestly can't tell if they are trying to be helpful or just trolling. I get that they can be good, but dang I'm about ready to just abort of one joins.

Range/duration zephyr is handy for the adds, keep turbulence up for that delicious anti-bullet bubble. Also helps in the brief windows where the bursa isn't stunlocked.

I was soloing it as a limbo. I'd just drop a cata behind me since enemies can't shoot through it but they can still see you so they stand way out of the way just popping shots into it. I'd just step in and out of it when the bursa got uppity since the transfer didn't stop instantly.

Eventually I just went Trinity since link just lets me stand there and stare at it.

Then I got lucky and got carried for the last 900 points because soloing it 100 points at a time is horrible when you can get 400 for a full group.

My last run netted me almost 300 points (leaving me at 1280-ish points). So I'm guessing I'm just a single run away from getting a Quanta Vandal.

And I'm seriously asking myself. Is the pain of running one more False profit run worth it?

The high level bursa wouldn't be that bad if he didn't also transform every other mook into level 100 mobs.... (at least that's what I was fighting at the end).

Also, why doesn't Nef have some separation between his accounts? You'd think his scam would have one account and he'd subsequently transfer funds to the accounts he uses for his military industrial complexes. Why doesn't he freeze the scam operation after it becomes apparent that something is awry?

It doesn't make sense how we could bankrupt him like this. Bean counting is practically the Corpus national pastime.

He doesn't transform regular mission guys up to his level, he just spawns reinforcements. It just feels like he transforms the regular guys because we do it in an exterm so there isn't an endless amount of regular guys.

Youd think there are far more corpus then Tenno too, so suckers should outnumber us too.

Also why are the funds fake if we payed their actual face value to get them? I think the tenno are the ones being scammed here.

Well obviously Darvo is using tenno credits to laundry his own illigally manufactured funds through Bursas and the extra money we're getting is darvos kickbacks.
The real plot is then to alert the corpus trade commission and ruin Nef through the fines he'll get for trying to launder false credits.
We're making ot look like it's Nef that's exploiting some kind of electronic currency validation bug instead of us.

The bursa range detection seems to be pretty buggy though, I've had 4 people all standing right next to it and still have the transfer paused. They seemed to have fixed a lot of the bugs going on with the credits portion of the event but - and this kind of extends to the rest of the game on general - the bursa's attacks are not very obvious sometimes. One of them has some kind of weird chain lightning attack that can do high damage randomly? And it's really frustrating because a lot of the time you sit there looking at your body saying "what the hell killed me?"

I understand in a shooting based game with hitscan enemy attacks and such it can be difficult to make every attack apparent, but on the other side of the coin it's really hard to learn from your deaths if you have no clue what actually happened to cause them.
