The announcement was too late to affect the editing process? You may be right, there. I had known BP wasn't intended to show up in AoU, but I got the feeling from the movie that the Wakanda/vibranium aspect might have been downplayed. That part of the movie seemed unusually awkward, but I guess not as awkward as Thor's side trip...
Probably cut for time. I'm glad we're getting a director's cut of that to see what was missed.

As far as a Hulk movie, a standalone Hulk movie, Marvel doesn’t really have the rights to that yet. That’s still Universal’s property, so there’s that issue. That’s a big impediment to moving forward with that. Now I don’t think that’s insurmountable, by the way, but I don’t know where it’s going from here for me.

new details on the Arrow/Flash spinoff, now officially called:
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
"When heroes alone are not enough ... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"
The series will star Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Arthur Davill as Rip Hunter, Ciarra Renee as Hawkgirl, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heatwave, and Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson. Caity Lotz, who played the deceased Sarah Lance/Black Canary on Arrow, is also in the cast in an unnamed role (probably as Black Canary pre-death due to time shenanigans).

new Lucifer trailer, looks pretty lame and oddly similar to Constantine...like, really similar. It does give me hope that Fox will pick up Constantine so they can do crossovers, but yeah, this show looks like garbage.
Seriously, that show looks like the exact opposite of Carey's Lucifer series.
I think I get it.
It's like how the first Hellblazer-related media, the film Constantine, didn't really reflect the actual Hellblazer comics.
So the first Lucifer media won't reflect its original comics either. Might still be decent on its own merits (it could happen), just not the same tone as the original subject matter.
A more true depiction might come later (maybe as a film?)
When Fisk and Vanessa finish their date, Fisk reaches into his jacket and pulls out an envelope which he gives to the maitre d'. There is a short pause before he does this, which almost suggests that he was going to pull out the gun that Vanessa gave him instead. What was the significance of this? I can't see any reason to suspect that he was about to shoot the maitre d', so either I missed the significance of this or it was meant to create suspense that ultimately fell flat.
So was it just me, or was there something more to this?

You missed the setup:
It was implied that (Fisk thought) he had tipped off the...Russians?...someone with the phone call earlier. But, of course, it turned out it was all according to Fisk's plan.

So his dad has pulled strings since being cast as Deadshot. Groovy. I keep getting the feeling that Jaden just wants to hang out, drink beer, and play Nintendo. Not be a major movie star like his dad. And this whole scientology thing that's been thrust upon him might have not helped the whole situation. But like anything given the right circumstances he could give us a great movie. Given DCs track record though... I mean they made a few good superman movies before they went all Pvt. Pyle on us, but this isn't Batman

At least we'll get a few crazy interviews for the trouble. Still, not something I'd want for Static's first movie outing. Maybe Batman's in it as well. Also played by Jaden Smith.

How did you feel about After eath, a movie where he had no chemistry with his father?
It makes sense to blame Jaden for that since the rest of the movie was a shining beacon of quality.
yeah, I can't hate on Jaden that much for After Earth, but he still comes across to me as 'famous and gets roles because of his father and not because of any particular acting skill set of his own', which means I would much rather see a more talented actor get the role for Static Shock.

See, those are the words of someone who has not embraced the glory of Gundam Maxter.
Chibodee Crockett is a real American hero.
Why I fear the ocean.
Nope, Universal still has a stake in a solo Hulk film.

"Ride or Die" confirmed Dominic Toretto, as they took off to find the Dragon Balls in hopes of reviving their friend Sonic
Very fitting for an ex-SHIELD special forces guy.
The fists make sense for a guy who already had his ass kicked by Captain America. He found something to even the next fight.
And they didn't.
So he died.

We have a DD thread too, btw.
Thanks for the explanation! I checked out the new thread, but I'll look into it further once I catch up, since it's not a spoiler free zone.
Also, why did Geth immediately agree to my last post as it posted? I'm slightly concerned.

How did you feel about After eath, a movie where he had no chemistry with his father?
His father was a war hero who was a dick. So your 50s era dad. Fitting I think.
That may be the case, but it doesn't make for good cinema.
