It would be nice if RPGs with relationship things just did stuff like Fallout 4. Or maybe the "pick whoever you like best regardless of gender" part of Fallout 4, with the meaty feeling of the relationships in Mass Effect. That'd be pretty rad.

Or the Dragon's Dogma route of whomever you gave the most stuff to over the course of the game. My character getting his throat violated by the armor shop dude was a bit of a surprise.

I can understand the design decision of just having one character be the lead, and having them male or female by default. They did a lot of cinematic animations for this game and it would be ridiculously expensive to have to do multiple takes of the same scene to accommodate player choice.
But it would be very easy to add a non-hetero option to the game.
that almost never happens (japanese only that is). That's only when the localization team is basically like, "eh, fuck it." Atlus is way more intensive than that.
Dual audio is about as rare. Fighting games do it, some action games (ninja gaiden). I guess disgaea does it?
FF15 having dual audio is a pretty big plus for me, this time around. I'd love P5 to have it, too. P4 had a stellar english cast, but I'm just as used to the JP cast from the animations.

The difference for me is that FF's English voice direction has been consistently terrible for a while, while Persona's has not. So yeah, I might choose Japanese for FFXV, so I can't tell how bad it is.

Was pleasantly surprised to see that many new faces. Hope I'm not the only one who was reminded of Robotics;Notes' Frau when Megane showed up.
Curly haired girl appears to have a swashbuckling alter ego. With the outfit, the swordfighting, and the French, I'm wondering if it's based on La Maupin, which would be perfectly thematic and super-rad.
