I'm not terribly concerned with Laura Bailey not being able to come back for Persona THIS time (and be honest, this will hopefully be the last time the characters are portrayed in P4 anyway). Atlus was very good at finding Matthew Mercer to play not-Troy Baker, so I'm pretty sure they'll find a really good not-Laura Bailey to play Rise as well.
Some people are sharing hopes that it's Alexis Tipton, though there's no verification yet.

Cleared P4D's story mode. It was okay. Writing is on the same level as P4U but lacks the cool moments that P4U had, and it's not as good as Q's.
Also I just looked at the DLC list in Dengeki Playstation and it adds up to 11500 yen ($115) and that's including Mari and Adachi's DLC yet which don't have the prices revealed yet (costumes are 1000 yen so I'm guessing that characters will probably be 1500-2000). Wow.
Did you look at overlapping DLC? Like if you can buy all the costumes and songs separately, but there's also a costume packs and song packs?
No overlaps or unlocks for stuff already in the game, but some of it is store-exclusive pre-order bonuses, magazine bonuses, and the stuff that came with the limited edition.
I already have 3500 and a bit worth of DLC from my pre-order of the limited edition and this week's Famitsu and Dengeki Playstation, the "a bit" being how one of the DLC packs (costumes designed by Sogabe for nine people) are split among three magazines (three characters each) of which I only have one.
Edit: Oh and I mistook the music videos by "popular Niconico video editors" (what the fuck?) as 100 yen for the lot, it's actually 100 yen each (12 altogether) so that's 12600.
Can you spoil a rhythm game? I clicked the spoilers and I'm not sure why they were spoilers.
Day one, though, even if I don't know how to play rhythm games, because it looks bonkers in all the best ways.
Secret characters (you have to unlock them, at least; Don't know if they were in press release stuff because I don't follow all that once I decide on getting a game), final boss, and
the fact that you can have more than two people on stage at the same time (which is only in the showdown with the final boss
I wasn't sure myself if they were saving it for later (which turned out to be the case) or if it was technical limitations like so many other games; Idolmaster SP (PSP) couldn't only do one character at a time, and Idolmaster OFA (PS3) ended up having to resort to using pre-rendered shit to cover that.
Plus you know some people get fucking loony over spoilers and throw fits at you for discussing things already in magazines or the game's website so better to be safe than sorry.
Oh and of COURSE this is a postgame secret

I have no talent with rhythm games, but I love this game exists. A hunch I had a while ago came true.
You know, with all the work put into the new character models (plus all the costumes) I can't help but wonder if they're planning on doing yet another remake of P4 for next gen or something.
Don't know if this has been revealed anywhere else so I figured I might as well post it, the limited edition soundtrack's track list:
Pretty sure that's everything, including full versions of the P4 and P4D OPs and EDs. Pretty surprising because Atlus usually leaves stuff out on bonus CDs, turning them into teasers for the actual soundtracks.

After the TV shows and him all over P4U2 stuff I can't help but feel that that particular spoiler is waaaaaaay past its expiry date.
I've had people complain to me about posting Evangelion spoilers long before the Rebuild movies were even announced. There's always someone who might not know.

I still keep that stuff hidden because it beats being harassed by lunatics but am regardless of the opinion that if you're online looking at stuff related to something over a decade old it's your own bloody fault if you run into spoilers.
Looking at that song list, is my dread going to remain unburned?
At least until they inevitably try to sell it to you for $5.

Have you found out if there's a way of disabling the various little things the characters say while dancing? Been watching some gameplay videos, and I feel like a music game with a lot of talking over the music is a bit off-putting.

It's actually a pretty common feature of anime-based rhythm games. I'm not sure whether P4D lets you toggle it, but you will kinda just get used to it.

Actually I did find a video of Yukiko dancing to Snowflakes that lacked both character voices and the sound effects that play when you hit notes, so I guess it is an option.
Also Kanji's reindeer outfit was in it too, so there's that.
There are options to turn off the sound effects and interface (on playback mode), and voices have their own volume slider (no way of disabling them with one option, or only in the rhythm game sequences though).

She actually has a number of different voices.

Not to mention Weiss, YOU DUMBASS.
My first thought turning on Nier was "Oh my god... Raspberyl/Rise is pissed!"

DLC character and Persona 4 spoilers
Someone here said that Nanako being in the game was pandering. The very game Itself is pandering and it is beautiful.

They're making Transformers, Nier 2, Star Fox...it's not even much of a joke anymore.

Wow, what possible reason could they have for him to be in? Rehabilitation?
I hope that's it. And that remix of Fog sounds amazing.
Wait, P4D uses SMT enemy status icons? Almost makes up for Laura Bailey's absence.
Almost.

Yes. They did a Persona 4 Rhythm game not a Persona rhythm game, even though other games in the series have much better music... like P3.

Also, it looks like they only rotated the spotpasses twice. Wtf. This is the absolute wrong way to do downloadable content.
Also Kanji's reindeer outfit was in it too, so there's that.
Maybe...maybe the entire game is a game over screen.
Dun dun dun...
