This is terrible, absolutely terrible. Not that Evma was gifted it, but that I spent all my wallet funds on copies of Out there somewhere and couldnt get him with it myself.
I still haven't forgotten who hit me with that horrible game.
This week's 19 cent game with cards is: The Hat Man: Shadow Ward
Card price is going to tank quickly but you will probably still get most of your money back, if not more.
wow, 4 pages behind today. Well, my washer died needed repairs, but I think I got it working. To celebrate I think I'm going to play dues ex: HR. I'm loving that game so far. I don't think I will play twice for multiple endings. Unless they are stupid easy to get like save before last convo, and pick other option. But good game. I'm lost in Detroit taking all the things. Must loot everything.
They are exactly that, which is a bit of an anticlimax. But they're all worth a watch.
Well than I will see them both, but. . .
There's four of them, IIRC.
EDIT: From the Deus Ex wiki: "The 4 endings each will have slightly different narration from Jensen depending on whether you were good, neutral, or evil throughout the game. This means that the game has 12 unique endings."
Regarding the washer:
When ours got its filter clogged and wouldn't drain, we got the water out by pulling the washer away from the wall, tilting it backwards so the filter cover was above the waterline, taking out the filter, and tilting the washer forwards carefully with a washing bowl under the filter opening to catch the water.

Note that your bodycount isn't what determines whether you were good, evil, or neutral. it's more a function of how you complete quests (so don't doublecross people that give you side quests for a greater reward if you want to stay good).
Wait, so some endings depend on how I answer? Well, I'm getting whatever endings I get in the end. I just don't think I will play again just to see endings. I will most likely youtube them when I finish.
F the washer.
I think the pump might be bad, but the model I have uses the same pump to drain as circulate. It takes some 9999 screws to open the damn thing.
Thanks for advice on how to get water out, that is my biggest frustration. Pulling the thing apart is easy once the water is gone.

Some decent stuff in the Weeklong Sales this week. Mass Effect semi-collection (for those that don't have it yet and don't mind it not including ME3) and Warhammer 40k Space Marine bundle.
So the plan would be to buy a game for the cards to sell and make the money back?
That seems a bit complicated just to go in a circle.
Hi, you must be new here. This is the Steam thread and this is what we do.
Circle jerks. Got it.
Or a carefully cultivated engine to generate money thus continuing the process?
Also to get free steam experience by increasing your game count, which increases your steam level, which increases your friends list capabilities! It all works together, wonderfully.

I was ridiculously happy when they figured out a way to use old & unwanted emoticons and backgrounds by turning them into gems for the holiday auction. That auction was awesome if you were looking for fantastic deals on lesser known games.

The game only counts the four main choices. Reload, watch. Watch the four for the 'cheevo.

Other than the odd manner they ascribe value to items, it was a decent idea.
There I was just minding my own business when @Iolo comes out of nowhere and just hits me completely unprovoked! .... Ignore anything anyone says, especially if its their birthday.

God damn guys mentioning shadow of mordor. I've wanted it since it came out but not certain I'll be able to run it well. Same problem with witcher 3 right now And not sure I wanna plonk down the cash and then "lol nope 10fps".
Gtx 750ti, amd FX6300, 8gb ram. What do we think? Should I go for it?
you should have no issues. i run i tmostly maxed on my 670
A 670 is significantly more powerful than a 750.
but the numbers
The first number just denotes the generation. The second number is a relative indicator of power and intended usage. As a general rule of thumb, they can be roughly divided thus: 1-3 = office, 4-5 = budget/multimedia, 6-7 = gaming, 8-9 = "enthusiast" gaming (and now they seem to have changed "9" to "Titan"). AMD follows a more or less similar scheme.
How did I go my whole life in PC gaming without knowing this? I feel like a fraud
On the upside, this makes me feel a lot better about getting the Witcher 3 to run above minimum settings.
If you don't have Blackguards 2 (or Blackguards 1, for that matter), the Blackguards franchise pack is on sale for $14 on Steam and includes Blackguards 1 and 2 and the dlc thing for Blackguards 1. Considering Blackguards 2 is still fairly new and is only on sale for $24 by itself, it's quite a bargain. Definitely look into it if you have an interest in turn based tactics games.

Random tea leaf reading here, but Blackguards 1 was in the Humble Jumbo Bundle 3, and Humble's big bundle turns over tomorrow. I'd wait to purchase the franchise pack until after Humble Bundle rolls over at 11:00 AM PST.

@Quical If I remember correctly, I was able to run SoM on a 250 GTS and it was very playable on low settings and still looked great so the 750Ti which is about 2 levels above that should be in pretty good shape.
Oh that's fantastic. So i could put a 30fps lock in-place and play it at that locked framerate rather than the judder and keep high graphics. Great news, thank you.

I know I've said it before, but I think it's fo' sho' this time. Dark Souls, I'm out! My bullshit tolerance has been worn down and now I've had enough.
I was one of those people, one of those who enjoyed Dark Souls initially, one of those DS Apologists. When people would cry "This is unfair nonsense", I'd tell them to git gud. I'd defend the repetitive nature of dying, saying "It's a learning experience, every death teaches you what not to do next time."
Now, I'm screaming "Fuck this shite" at the top of my lungs. Seriously. There is nothing interesting about Lost Izalith. Fighting the Bed of Chaos consists of a run through an uninteresting, boring path through easy fire breathing weebles, only to die in one hit from the boss, or for the ground to crumble with no opportunity to react and send me to my doom. Before that, fights against enemies in lava with my health slowly draining, with a camera that makes it impossible to actually see what's happening.
So now I stand with those I called heathens before. "Dark Souls is such bullshit!" Oh well, onto something actually fun!
DISCLAIMER: The above is opinion, it's OK if you like it.
You're totally wrong though, and have horrible taste.

Thank you so much! I remember the initial controversy about The Great Giana Sisters back in the 8-bit days. So a bit of history!
Marked received.

Wait, there was controversy? I didn't even know this wasn't the first game in the series. What was the hubub, bub?
Other than the odd manner they ascribe value to items, it was a decent idea.
Originally the Giana Sisters was a ripoff Mario Bros, back in the super original mario bros days.

@Halfazedninja ...
Ah! Well I can see how that might cause some issues. Then again, game clones have been around since, like, Pong. Still, good to know the history.
Though Twisted Dreams feels nothing like Mario to me, past the superficial "jump on platforms and collect doodads", so that's good I suppose.
