Take that backlog! Stacking finished! Only......77 more games to go. Oh god I'm screwed.
Only 77?
I think you just made yourself a target my friend.
That's not my total number, just the number I have yet to play. Keep in mind once I get around to Skyrim, I'm clearing the whole game, -everything-. Same thing for Witcher 3. I'm in for a special kind of hell of my own making. Most of the usual suspects have thrown games at me already, which I haven't got to yet, they'll probably pile on once they see I beat the games they gave me, plus they'll all nuke me on my birthday, so no reason to double down.
Signs you have become primarily a PC gamer: You go to play a console game, can't find any batteries, go to look inside other controllers and find that the batteries have corroded.

That's why I've only used wired controllers.

The one problem I found with my oldest 360 wired controller is that after only 2 years, it has a short in the cord near the pad itself, and a loose L Stick.
Though to be fair that made it through 400+ hours of Skyrim, not counting all the AssCreed, SR and other games I've played for totalled thousands of hours over the past 2 years . . .
But it does make me think about getting wireless controllers.

I've stuck with the rechargeable battery packs for my 360 controllers since day one. The official MS ones are pretty great, they last for ever on one charge (35-to-40-ish hours of actual use with rumble on). I've got a couple of third-party ones as well, Venom. They're not nearly as good. But I've never had one corrode, unlike AA batteries.
So gift Destroyah 1 or 2 things on impulse and what does this class monster do? retaliates lol. We will have to settle this later as I have errands to run.

After a particularly bad experience with a Wiimote, my policy has been that wireless controllers get their batteries removed between games. It's amazing how you can just forget to turn a system on for a couple of years and what can happen in that time.
Seriously, can we stop copy/pasting Europe and tolkein and explore some other fucking continents for content? =
I'd like to see an RPG about the first Native Americans migrating into the Americas over the beringian land bridge ; the first humans in a huge continent half covered in ice, populated by dire wolves, mammoths, giant condors...haven't explored the thought too far beyond that, but I think it would be pretty cool
Spending more time with Invisible, Inc. and so far my biggest takeaway, even moreso than XCOM, is "I'll never have enough money to buy all of the cool toys I want." I've still only got the two starting agents (Decker and Internationale), but I just upgraded Incognita to automatically (and at 0 power cost) show me all the daemons in a level and I bought her a dagger that lets her take down 3 firewalls for 1 power with a 5 turn cooldown in addition to the standard lockpick that takes out 1 firewall for 2 power.
I also managed to upgrade Decker's strength so now his normal disrupter can take out armored guys.
What I'm really trying to say is that I expect every mission to be my last, and I'm loving it.
I don't know if I just hit upon the hero for me, but I'm liking Captain America enough that I haven't even tried out Squirrel Girl or Rocket Raccoon yet despite having both of them open. Anybody with experience in either of those 2 character know if they have something comparable to Cap's Shield Bounce?

Look.
Squirrel Girl calls down a frigging barrage of nuclear powered squirrels to annihilate her enemies.

Fuck your shield bounce.
Squirrel Girl's real superpower is winning. Also, all the cute.
@Pixelated Pixie sent me a can-you-test-this-key-for-me-totally-not-a-trap message on Steam with a code for Long Live The Queen which worked great. Now all I need to do is use falcons on everything and keep away from chocolate and I should be fine. Thank you!
I still use the mouse pad that came with the 360 version. It has pretty good wrist support. The game itself, the less said the better.
As someone who likes SRPGs and doesn't like handhelds, I prefer 'disappointed.' It wasn't that the game was just shat out or anything. There was a ton of content, a battle system that people obviously spent a lot of time crafting, a ton (well, too many) other systems to add depth, and it was just so, so not fun to play.
Nintendo really needs to come up with the 3DS EM console. And by console, I mean PC software that accepts credit cards and 360 controllers.
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

My big Elite: Dangerous plans for this weekend were sidetracked by my grandma's sudden passing, which really was a blessing with her horrible dementia the last few years. This lady inadvertently got me into heavy metal music by showing me this video: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell's_Bells:_The_Dangers_of_Rock_'N'_Roll

It came up on my queue, and I want to know if I'm not interested in it, but I honestly can't tell.

And then. This morning. Without warning. He struck again with Lost Planet 3.
Thank you for both games!

Also, I'm playing a GC game right now, and wavebirds are the shit.
(It was a 360 controller that had the corrosion, though).

That too!
I used to use them in my Atari Lynx and PC Engine GT (aka TurboExpress). They drained faster than they charged, I think!

Oh I saw.
Despite my gift message to Raslin I really do adore the game. But it is very anime.

All I did was point out that @ReverseCreations deserved whatever Destroyah87 did to him.
And then he goes and reinforces my point for me.
Thanks! Reject demon woo!
