Although Ross's dad sounded pretty chill when they called him for Amazing World, so I'm sure they'd have to railroad it a bit.
Still, the idea of having all the dad's on, maybe playing a couple of classic games and then like throwing them on something like Bloodbourne could be pretty awesome.
User name Alazull on Steam, PSN, Nintenders, Epic, etc.
I think an awesome idea for Father's Day is to have Arin and Danny's fathers do the grumping. Although in reality it would probably be ten minutes of awkward silence since the two men have probably met only a few times in passing.
The Sonic 3 run is good, but I've noticed that it's mostly Arin and Ross talking while Jirad plays the game well.
Basically, we finally got what we wanted.

we'dve gotten what we wanted if it were Arin, Dan and Jon talking while Jirard played the game well and Ross was on a 20 year long self-discovery journey on the Australian outback.
That's why you play putt putt golf ("mini-golf" to squares).
If you can find one that has the moving pirate ships and weird crap it's better than a day at disneyland (also, a hole-in-one on the final hole should *always* give a free admission, and be correspondingly ridiculous to get).

I posted literally the entire discussion he has about Sonic right there. They say he's been quiet about it, he says he hates Sonic, gives that explanation, then they change topics.
How reasonable the special stages are compared to Sonic 2 is one of the better things in Sonic 3. Guess which ones Sonic 4 ripped off (yet another mark against Sonic 4)?
See, as far as S3&K goes is that if you don't have all seven S3 emeralds by the time the S&K half of the stages kicks in, you're fucked for the rest of the game. Jirard being "The Completionist" probably wanted to make sure he had all seven, since the special stage rings do have a tendency to become a bit more sparse as the stages go on.
Particularly if you know you're going to be going through these special stages with Ross ADHD-ing in your ear for three hours, since I would think the Grumpcade episodes are done in one sitting to fit in everyone's schedules.
Remember back when Arin and Danny were playing SMB3DW and they randomly remarked how there'd be a little Luigi sprite every now and then as they explored the game levels? Turns out there's a WHOLE LOT MORE of them in the game.

"Goddamnit, Mr. O'Donovan."
Oh my god imagine if Dan's dad said it.

Better formula would be Arin and Lloyd.

On Dan's episode his dad should be, "Eh...kinda Grump."
And I'm grump who gradually gets angrier YOU HAD ALL DAY TO DO YOUR CHORES DAN YOU HAD SO LONG!!!
The absolute silence in spaces is creepy.
Just like........really low volume saloon piano music? I dunno.

But neither of them get drunk or smoke weed and that is what golfing in Washington entails these days.
Still, real talk if you're playing at Par or Bogey you're good enough to be on the Tour.

eh, not Jon

For fucks sake, allow someone else relate an experience without preemptively one-upping them

One time Ross did a Van Helsing parody animation.
They have to know, right?
And Arin shares his opinion on why Sonic 3 sucks.

Although Jared managed to nearly time out in Hydrocity, which is...impressive considering the time limit is 10 minutes.

Cannot really blame CR for that as silly as it is the age of the Internet someone thought it was a great idea to region lock Digital Streaming Rights.
Listen, it's not that simple, even if it's still not CR's fault.
I don't usually think Ross is all that bad, but the MK Grumpcade with Mark and this one are just... like... shut the fuck up, Ross!
Every time he talks it runs down.
If he won't stop, then he ends up not being able to speak for half the episode.
And every time he uses "like" he gets docked ten seconds.
