I'm absolutely loving this Undertale series so far. They're going to feel like the scum of the earth by the end though. I guess you could say... they're going to have a bad time.

I think Barry can beat Undyne. She's hard but manageable.
Sans is a downright bastard of a fight, and I assume we'll at least see the series take a break while they learn it.

also, arin needs to level another goddamn weapon in bloodborne seriously, he was so excited about some of them and then he just completely ignores them?
it's dull from a watcher perspective to be sure (especially since there are so many cool weapons in the game), but there's nothing actually wrong with the weapon, and it's always going to be easier to stick with what you're comfortable with
that said, his tendency to stick with what he's comfortable with is probably a good chunk of why the DLC is giving him such a hard time
i'm kind of amazed that he's pushed through as far as he has seemingly without having learned a blessed thing about the game
I imagine a lot of youtubers are going to be leaving Maker in the next month or two. Some of the Yogscast have said their contract is up in March and at least one of them won't be renewing. They really pissed them off with their Shazam bullshit.
Quick search shows that Shazam is some audio site that can tell you the name/artist for a song after hearing just a few seconds of it. One of the main complaints in this Maker stuff seems to be them telling channels to make any video private that they 'might' get in trouble for, where they sing/play/etc. any copyrighted music. So I'd guess they run the episodes through Shazam to see if it picks up.
Yeah, Jesse Cox and Hannah from the Yogs have made videos about it. Maker were basically running their videos through Shazam, and then telling people to private any video that had a positive. Hannah in particular said she offered to take any responsibility for copyright marks, and that she'd handle it all and Maker STILL refused and told her that they had to be made private.
I swear I feel like the Ross always brings the conversation into "wrong" territory. The videos are almost always full of cursing and talk about grabbing a porn page from his buddy that had some leftover...substance... on it.
Re: Grumps leaving Polaris - probably not a bad thing. This Nathan fellow on their TableFlip episode is annoying as balls.

The weird thing is, Pewdiepie, Markiplier, JSE, CinnamonToastKen, and a few others just formed a group called Revelmode which is part of Maker. So not everyone is leaving it.

Between PewDiePie and Mark, they make enough for an MCN to cover alot of the legal fees. And I doubt Maker wants to lose Pewds considering he is the golden cow of Youtube. They haven't given the specifics but I imagine this is the MCN that Pewds wanted to make that is more for the content creators.
Maybe the Grumps will join or they'll go independent like SeaNanners did when he created JetPack as an MCN that helps younger talent grow. Probably because of some of the bad taste Machinama leaves in just about all their former employees mouths.
arin does pretty well against orphan... if he just ever used his fucking gun or backstabbed, he probably could have beaten it (and he's only tried like once or twice at this point)
also it sounds like they're going to skip the optional boss (and/or completely ignorant of its existence), so that's that then.

Yeah, a LOT of people aren't happy with them right now. I know Nostalgia Chick had a falling out, and I think Todd in the Shadows did as well.
From what I hear you don't get paid shit for CA unless you're a big tick person. It's purely a "Well, we'll put you on our site and get you traffic." sort of thing. And they micromanage a lot of shit.
Maybe that's changed since the mass exodus, but Grumps are not heading there.
I am behind this because it would be a perfect fit and they could become Voltron with the Funhaus guys. Also, because it would increase my chances of meeting the grumps if they were in Austin...

Normal Boots isn't a multi-channel network with all the benefits that entails (copyright protection and so on), it's basically just a means of cross-promotion for the channels that are a part of it, so I don't really see that happening.
I think the Grumps will just stay independent from now on.
