With some frequency, perhaps every three days or so, this happens.

The only way I know to fix it is to clear my browser history, which often doesn't work a few times.
Is there a better way to fix it, or anything I can do to avoid it?

This is with the Chrome browser on HTC One M8
Nexus 4, Android 5.1, Chrome browser. I've been setting it to Full Site view because as inconvenient as that is, it's still easier to browse than the bonked mobile view.
