So, the new Loki skin is the only thing I don't have from the Halloween chest. By next Wednesday I'll have 400 gems from my daily login stuff, so I can get it then. I may, even though I hate Loki and don't play him... it's just too cool of a skin.
As for the Odyssey stuff, I'm thinking I'll wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday and see if Hirez does another promo with like 30% bonus gems on purchases. We'll see.

Hahahaha turnarounds in HoTS are great.
We're playing on the Battlefields of Eternity and each side has an Abathur, so matchups are already weird, but the other team also has Morales. For 20 minutes, we lose every team fight because we can't focus Morales and are down to just our core while they still have all four forts. We stop their latest push to the core, win the next teamfight over the angel/demon struggle, and follow our champion to victory within the following five minutes.
He's got great lane clear and nice CC, but he's not really a tank because you can just walk up to him and kick his squishy ass. If you get him hoping to play a tank in QM, you are going to be sad.
When playing with friends he's not bad though.
(Vikings are rarely played because they have a high learning curve. They were nerfed but are competitively viable.)

Welp, I got my Diamond Medusa tonight. Also got the FP for Iron Crow Hou Yi right after that.
So now I gotta decide what I wanna work on next. Before I decided on Medusa I tried Hou Yi for a few games and sucked horribly on him. He did just get some buffs, not sure if I should try him again or not. I know overall, Cupid is my next best Hunter oddly enough, not sure entirely why that is. I am sort of tempted to try AMC, especially since he's supposed to be fairly ridiculous in 1v1 and I was tempted to try to get the 20 ranked wins needed for the Metal Gear-ish skin for him. Hmm... maybe I'll give that a shot.
It's mostly just lili who can put out big damage numbers. She lacks some tools that other healers have though. I think she's probably the best for uncoordinated games with randoms though. Also a great counter for auto attack heroes.

Though honestly these days Tyrande can probably do just fine with careful positioning and her % boost to healing at high health. I think that was a really healthy change for her that stops me hating myself everytime I pick her and get matched against a proper heal nuke support.
Also honestly I find Karahzim's damage isn't too note worthy just because it can so often be too risky to make use of it. Though he's definitely one of the best skirmishing/lane supports outside of big fights.

go 50% blinding wind damage and 4x blinding wind with the rest serpent talents and the damage is even higher

You can bait out premature blinds too, the cooldown is 8 seconds.
