You can hide games. That's what I typically do for newer games that I either got free or through GoG Connect because I like to use GoG as my old games library.
Has anyone else run into an issue with two step authentication where it says it'll send an email but never does? Two step has been set up on my account (Like it was apparently set up for everyone in October?) and it hasn't bothered me up until now since I generally log on from the same two machines and both of them have been good about remembering my login. I tried to log in from a friend's house and got the two step thing. It claims it sent emails to me, but none have appeared in my inbox, local spam filter, enterprise quarantine, etc. At this point I just want to turn two step off since it is apparently buggy as hell. But, of course, that requires a two step code. Since I can log in on the machines where the cookies are still set, I have verified that the email on file is correct, etc. And I get their stupid advertisements for their sales, so they've figured out how to make that work.
I like two factor authentication when it isn't actually one factor authentication in disguise, but that's not really the case here, and besides it doesn't even seem to function at a basic level.
I'm going to put in a support ticket about this, but I was hoping someone here has run into something similar and found a way to fix it. We're going into the weekend support black hole soon and I'd like to be able to fix this.
Nooooooooope. Sequel was fun though! I still need to try Max Damage and see whether it actually runs at above 5fps yet, that game was terribly optimised at release.
I've been playing max damage since this announcement with only one crash (and that was on exit) - I have the game at max settings at 3440x1440 - no issues at all. So yeah give it a shot (and max damage is great, scratches the old itch well, though there are a few design decisions I don't like).

Yep. If you're using Galaxy, if you click the button that gives you options like Install, the last option is Hide Game. If you click the arrow next to My Collection, you can have it show your hidden games. I currently have 39.
Close Combat series now on gog! Except they don't have the first one which is the only one I played! I bought the 2nd one though because apparently it's better anyway.

They have Close Combat III, the best of the classic series (as though the whole series isn't old as hell). That's what maters.
Is this the first time they've done a Chinese New Year sale? Seems like every week store platforms need something to have a sale. If things are always on sale, isn't the "retail" price complete bullshit?
Wasn't sure where to put this. This is interesting. A new game from "3D Realms" (which I believe is just Infoceptor Entertainment renamed) called Ion Maiden is being built on the BUILD engine:
When you order in Early Access on Steam (or from 3D Realms directly) you actually get a Preview Campaign to play NOW (this is replayable with multiple modes and tons of places to explore, hours of gameplay). Then you also get a full, separate, Single Player campaign when it launches later this year.

I would love to see the preview campaign available as special order shareware on 3.5" disks from the 3DRealms store.

You and me both, although at ~40MB that's a lot of floppies!
All Star Wars games are massively discounted too. I ended up getting all the X-Wing/TIE Fighter games. Never got to play them growing up. Makes you realize how many fucking Star Wars games there have been and how many of the early ones on PC are quite good. I had Rebel Assault 1+2 and Dark Forces 1+2 during the 90s.

X-W/TF made me appreciate taking down an enemy piece by piece. I have all of the games on Steam, but double dipping just to have them on GoG as well. Especially since I have like 60% of them already on GoG.
Edit: I should know better, but bought a hat just for fun. I got Jagged Alliance 2 from it. Looks interesting so might try it out.

Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst

It's a bit slower and more predictable than Dungeon Keeper's true spiritual success War for the Overworld but I had a lot of fun with it.
... Half-Life 3 confirmed!

I think it actually looks cool. They gotta be careful with the price point here though.
EDIT: End of the article says $20. That seems high, I was thinking $10 woulda been better.

Illness? No, sir. You have ascended to a higher state of being.

Right after I finally bought it on Steam...
Maybe it'll come to GoG connect?
(Buying it somewhere was a good call!)

Getting started with BATTLETECH: Part 1 / Part 2
That's one of my favorite games of all time. I'll take it off your hands and trade you for something else if you like.
