Going to try to get more active scenery for parts...
If you have a NVidia graphics card you can record using shadowplay for free (and avoid the fraps thing at the top). Its need though the music fits perfectly imo.
Sadly, I've just got an aging mid-tier AMD/Radeon on the PC I'm using.
Which I just don't see, since it seems most of the Gyros either act like Ranger spirits when you could still trait them to follow you, or mesmer clones, charging the enemy to explode or doing their one thing where you summoned it, which don't usually suffer from the pitfalls of pet AI. We'll have to see how their health is next BWE see how they preform under pressure, but honestly other than the Purge and Medic Gyro, as those had little appeal to me (though, 5 seconds of pulsing protection from the Medic Gyro's toolbelt sounds nice) the gyros, if not awesome in and of themselves, seem to have pretty great toolbelt skills that are worth considering almost entirely on their own merit.
I just started playing this game again and I want to transfer to the PA Server, but it won't allow me without 1,800 diamonds.
I just have a few characters on a different server and don't know how to gain shards, could anyone help me?
The PA server is just for purposes of Wuvwuv. For everything else, all servers are now playing on the same mega-server, really (though it's still instanced, which you can take advantage of by using the LFG tool to join other instances and find respawned content).

Gems are the premium currency in GW2. You won't get 1800 of them by playing the game, you'll need to pay real money in the Black Lion Trading Post. 1800 gems is I think $22.50 (US); it's expensive because our server is high-population (I didn't even know they would let anyone transfer actually).
The good news is, you probably don't need to join our server unless you specifically want to WvW with us. You can do the entire rest of the game with us, including joining the guild and participating in all the guild missions, open world stuff, dungeons, sPvP, etc. Thanks to megaservers, your home server is meaningless except specifically in the World Vs World game mode.
So go ahead and join the guild! You can always transfer later if you decide it's worth it.
Quick reminder folks, I'm out tonight so guild missions are off for Saturday evening. If you'd still like credit with the guild this week, tomorrow's missions are still on!
Got all non-cooking crafting up to 400+. I can make all the (durable) things. I'm finally free of the tyranny of low-level vials of blood, or the desperate hope for random drops of baddassery!
Not 100% accurate, according to the developer, but very close.

#6, 7 & 15 on the leaderboard have insane efficiency if they're not just a product of injecting real money into the game. They're making on 30-45g an hour of playtime. That's insane.
I'm currently bouncing between 177 and 178 gold. It's rather entertaining to be excited at 178, then run dailies and season 2 waypointing across the map and back to 177.
Ever since I hit the point where I could make Damask, gold has been coming in at a regular clip. Of course, my problem is that I spend my profit as soon as I get it. "Hey, I made some profit... OOOooo, I need this Rune. WTF, I'm back down to where I started?"
My economic strategy: plant food and lv21 alts parked at Weyandt's Revenge puzzle chest fishing for doubloons. I can damask but have not been doing so since making decent bank after hitting 250 doubloons. I should look into that - plant food is already a guaranteed 1g profit per day.
Is there any information about what Sylvari eat...?
Food for thought
They eat meat and plants just like humans.
Personally I'd hoped they'd go all Elder Scrolls Bosmer and be like WE EAT NO PLANTS, PLANTS ARE OUR BROTHERS, ONLY MEAT but nope, they do eat plants. I guess though that's just like humans eating cows or pigs or whatever.
Interestingly I think Charr are also omnivores, but I don't know if they're omnivores like dogs (eg, NEED to eat meat, but can supplement that diet with plants better than some other carnivores) or omnivores like humans (probably do best on a diet that includes at least small amounts of meat, but can survive on plants). I'm actually willing to bet it's more the former. Maybe not quite as much as dogs, but like, "if I don't have SOME meat every day I'm gonna get sick."
Woo! Completed all the S2 achievements for the living story. Finalllllly. So glad thats done. If anyone needs help with them, i'm happy to help out. Let me know.

Instead, it's mostly "WAAHH AI WAAHH TARGETABLE WAAH USELESS GYROS USELESS FOREVER!!"

Edit:for some reason I'm not seeing it on the actual pages/tabs

Bazaar Quaggan Mini Pack, Captain's Airship Pass (permanent and 2 week), some other skins and finishers that are pirate-themed.
The Airship is just... a compressed Lion's Arch or other hub city, right?

Why the fuck didn't I play as my mesmer before?
Also, it's too bad torch is a heavily underused weapon because there are a lot of great looking torch skins.
