Should I get Infested Tychus or hold out for Prisoner Tychus? I kind of dig the idea of a shirtless pile of manmuscle with a minigun riding a giant fucking wolf into battle, so maybe Prisoner Tychus is more my speed.
Infested Tychus is one of the best skins with different movement animations on top of throwing banelings instead of grenades and calling in an infested Odin. It also isn't on sale though so there's no hurry to choose.
I hate the Odin. I love the zoning offered by the dumb laser drill though. I know it's suboptimal, but if a teamfight ever starts and you don't have 3 seconds to jump in the Odin (which has been well over half of my teamfights) the laser seems to get more work done.
Laser is for where you want to be able to grenade to interrupt at all times.
It's also good at zoning but it's not good enough at it to be a 100% take it on maps where zoning is important.
Also works really well on Spider Queen where the map is small but with lots of walls, so you can drop the thing somewhere the enemy can't easily get to but it can still hit them. Especially after the lvl 20 upgrade.
I never get the level 20 upgrade, I always take the 20% AA range/speed.
I don't think that applies to Overkill does it? Seems kinda useless to me cause I assumed it didn't, like all the other AA upgrades.
And Laser Upgrade is a fucking long-range murder machine. It will kill most characters before they can outrange it.
I almost never build for Overkill on Tychus. I usually build AA or Quarterback depending on our team comp. Giant Killer + Sizzlin' Attacks + Empowered + Nexus Frenzy means I can kill tanks pretty goddamn quick in this all tank all the time meta.
Maybe I should try the level 20 drill upgrade, though. I've never actually taken it.

Edit: this thread moves too fast....this was in reply to the talk of an Azmodan announcer.
My friends and I keep calling him Azmodad and saying things like, "Arrogant children, did you think you'd leave the house dressed like that!" when our buddy dunks with him. It's a good time, and I'm doodling him wearing a polo shirt with a #1 Dad mug that he throws instead of a fireball to throw on Blizzard's twitter.
Azmodon.
"I'm going to send him a fireball he can't refuse."

Also note that was the game where Dibby was like "Hey you should turn quickcast on" and then I was all "Man what is this nonsense" then suddenly ALL THE DAMAGE
Quickcast is love, quickcast is life.
Once you actually get familiar and comfortable with it, it makes a world of a difference. You will notice huge improvements in your play. There's also On-Release if you're not super familiar with your ranges.
My only regret is that it took me far too long to bite the bullet on that one.
I have tried switching to the on-release quickcast but I can't say it feels like it's worked out much better than the standard casting.
Munkus, did you switch to the full-on quickcast or on-release?
Officially the unluckiest CCG player ever.

On release pretty much is full on with a safeguard.
Like I guess unless you hold buttons instead of just press them? But I can't imagine ever doing that. When I press a button, a release is pretty much garunteed unless I do not want the thing to happen. Many things, like even windows, work that way so I am trained to press release always and hold off if I am not sure.
And on release can be cancelled with right click while holding. Its all the power in your fingertips.

I like on release for Aba gameplay... when people are chasing and the enemy hero has next to no health it makes it easier to range or lead and guarantee a hit.
Didn't feel to bad about my one Hammer game. Good damage. Again I stick with the biggest mistake most hammers make is staying in siege too long and too often. Hammer still does fantastic single target damage in normal mode and the movement, no matter how shitty is great. Allows some ability to knock around the enemy team with concussive blast. Mines doe a lot of quiet damage. And you can occasionally body block if you need to.
I still like Hammer but hard to play her verse Zag though.

Wow, Skeleton King sounds badass... he has an Uther-like death mechanic, but all damage he *would* deal instead lowers his death counter and he rezzes where he died.
Leoric's trait is becoming a wraith when he dies. Cannot deal damage, but can fuck with enemies reducing his respawn. Stays a wraith for the whole respawn, rezzing where his wraith is at.
Leoric's ults are creating gates that trap players, and basically him doing wide swings with his mace that also heal him.
There's a goddamn treasure gob on the D3 map. It shows up right before gates open, and if you kill it before it escapes you get extra gold at the end of the match.
If it runs towards the enemy team to try to escape, it's going to be hilarious.

Yeah just watched the vod, DANG Leoric looks cool. Both those Ults seem REALLY good. And his trait is probably the first on-death trait that I actually like. NEVER DIE? NEVER DIE. Kinda.
Monk seems cool too, but not enough info yet. Making him a Support really kinda fits I think.

Is Leoric a tank specialist or assassin? I imagine specialist.

He's a Warrior.
Also, here's some short videos displaying his basic abilities:
Q is a wide-arcing smashy hit. W seems to apply a DoT on your target that also returns health to you. E seems to be like Sylvanas's E, though I'm sure there's some differences.

Seems like they knew they weren't going to get female warriors from any of their other properties, so they took the opportunity to use the D3 classes for it.
Again, both look really good. His second one looks like it does damage as he comes into contact with targets, rather than at set intervals? You can see he does two very quick swings as the Vikings approach him, then two delayed swings as he approaches Jaina and Kael'thas. Those swings did at least 500 damage each (Jaina and Kael'thas had two healthbar pips, each pip represents 250 health), so it seems like it does a LOT of damage. Heal seems pretty significant. Does appear to grant him Unstoppable, as Kael'thas tosses out the Gravity Lapse and nothing happens.
And I mean, the first one is kind of nuts. I'm curious if you can trap multiple people in it or just one.
I think my go-to would probably be his second Ult, though. Just seems more useful in a teamfight.
I think he's easy in that there's nothing terribly hard to pick up and play with. All his abilities are pretty straight forward and even his trait is fairly simple.
He's got a ton to think about to play him well though. Alot of depth there to figuring out when to use the trait and on what and how to combo stuff.
But I don't think that's what the difficulty listings are for.

Servers down or something? Can't seem to authenticate to BNet.
I think Kael is harder for newer players or players that don't play assassin a lot, as he is VERY squishy and possesses no escapes and his stun is used to set up burst.

Working fine for me.
Something like 18/6 with Sonya now.
Three of my losses involved quite a lot of alcohol, one involved an uncarryable team, and the last was a really good match that just didn't go our way.

It seems to be a mistake - on their web site he's listed as one of the hardest characters, and is only behind Illidan / Abathur / TLV in difficulty score.
Shrike, I think we probably just have a different definition of difficulty. Personally I think Kael is absolutely the hardest ranged assassin to play - he requires more mechanical skill than other characters due to his trait, he has zero defences unlike the others, and every 6 seconds you face a choice on how to cast your spells that can make a big difference to your play. You have to constantly make split decisions as to what's better, and that can change depending upon the fight and what's going on. There's no 'always right' answer with his ability, although at 16 it gets a lot easier..l ;-)
Plus his actual combo for max damage is way more complicated than almost anyone else's. Amp, living bomb, stun, flamestrike, hard cast living bomb is a lot of presses to get off in a very short timer period.

I've been watching - assuming I didn't miss it they are talking about other games right now (Warhammer, Microsoft crap, etc :P).
Man, I really really liked him! Way more than Jaina.
Damn, this might be 10K...... >.<'

Didn't expect Monk to be support though, although I hope he's not a weird "half-support" like Tyrande or Tass.
