everything is true until they say it isn't true anymore.
There will be an angel planeswalker one day because those words together print money.
razia was from ravinica, and was actually "born", and all ravinica angels are either copies made from mana or direct clones

the banter in that project lightning bug UR is so goddamn dorky
also this little stab at scene-setting made me laugh
They passed a shopfront that smelled of greasy onions, and a musty alleyway where hooded elves shot them dirty looks.
it's just so delightfully stupid sounding

i hope return to return to ravnica focuses more on each guild's specific rank aroma

also, one of the things about "hard rules" like "so and so can't hold a spark ever" is that breaking the rules is narratively interesting because you get to ask "why'd this happen?"
is there something weird going on with this angel? is it actually an angel? what's up with THAT? these are interesting questions that you get to ask and explore through the story when something like this happens
now of course you might also wind up with a situation like Drizzt where he's different because he's special and awesome and everyone wants to throw up but that's a risk you gotta take

Should have clarified, good for CFB, not for those of us stuck in this sea of humanity. I think this might become thunderdome if the drafts don't start firing again soon.

In that case I highly suggest Betgirl climb up on Whippy's shoulders and loudly declare who runs bartertown.

If a Phyrexian with a spark can make them money I wouldn't be too shocked for them to suddenly develop the ability.

don't phyrexians corrupt living things, via the oil or artificial implants or something? Seems like that could happen to an existing walker pretty easily. Wasn't that sort of happening to Karn? I'm a little fuzzy on what was going on there.

The planeswalker spark naturally makes you incorruptible by Phyresis or whatever it's called. Karn's spark was gone when he was on Mirrodin, for reasons I can't recall. At the end of Scars block, Venser teleported his spark into Karn to cure him at the cost of his own life. By regaining a spark, he was cured of the corruption.

Forget all those cases of MM; I wonder what the basic land reserves looked like.
