Ziggurat is seeming pretty cool. Also been a while since I haven't played a demanding AAA fest or something slow paced so was refreshing to go back to a game at 144 FPS.
I'd advise turning down mouse sensitivity if you get it. Default for me was WAY high.

The only reason I haven't bought it on steam is because I have the PS3 version.

Yeah, same here. I loved the game, but see no reason to get after beating it on PS3. I doubt I'll be playing through it again.

Has anyone played Sniper Elite 3 and liked it enough to play it to completion? I'm on the fence about picking it up, but I never even finished #2 because it had too many shitty interior levels that weren't about sniping that that totally killed the game for me.

I haven't completed it but it seems WAY more open and has a more refined stealth system for when you aren't sniping.
Always a chance the last few levels shit the bed but for the most part it seemed like a pretty big step up and addressed a lot of my complaints with 2 (which were similar to yours).
My only complaint about it is that it seems like the AI could use better tuning. At the hardest they're a little too psychic with finding you and the one below that they're just a tad too dumb.

So, I put this game on my wishlist because it looked like something I may be interested in sometime in the future and didn't want to lose it, and it was acquired for me while I acquired the proverbial bacon to bring home. Thanks, Kal. ^_^
Everybody seems to love The Binding of Isaac, but I don't know if I can get past how unappealing the look and subject matter is to me. I really don't like to be creeped/grossed out by the media I consume. Anybody with these types of reservations end up getting the game and loving it anyways?
The game is awesome, but I can't imagine enjoying it if all the poop/piss/blood/religious imagery bothers you a lot.
It doesn't bother me exactly, but it certainly does nothing for me. Well, it ensures I tell almost nobody in my life I spent 200 hours playing it. It does that.
@youngfrey and @chuck steak : You can take this with as much, or little, grains of salt and ymmv's and the like, as you will, but i would say that Rebirth is the best game as game (that is, as opposed to game as art, or game as story) that i have played. It's extremely well designed, plays as smooth as fecal matter through waterfowl's GI tract, and is very, very fun. Probably the only game i've really wanted to come back to and play again, and again, even after reaching this milestone yesterday:
i mean i got up past that in Disgaea4, but that was really just a bloody-minded grind to get the PlatTrophy for it, i had lost most all my sense of enjoyment well before that point. Rebirth hits all kinds of sweet spots for me: it's not tedious, or excessively difficult, but it does harshly punish repeatedly stupid play. There are some "(almost) i win" items, but most everything can be put to some use, and the synergies between different things can make each run (relatively) different. A decent run can usually clock about an hour, so it's not hard to slot a bit of play in here and there. Plus, as much as people like to point out all the poop, it has a quirky, almost cute, style to it; a very good example of what can be done, and done very well, with pixel art.
The only thing i would say against it is its treatment of Christian images/themes, if that is something that would honestly bother you, then you'd be better off with something else. Still, aside from that i cannot recommend Rebirth highly enough.
