You didn't give it enough time, though if you like holding a charge for long stretches then it definitely won't fit your play style. In practice the FOV reduction doesn't matter to me. You charge until you have enough damage to kill, aim, and fire. I rarely use fully charged shots and never have my view obscured for long enough to matter.
I think of scoped chargers as the lovechild of the Huntsman and standard rifle in Team Fortress 2, though it is more like the former with a laser and scope. And no pinning enemies to walls :sad:

I never really cared about Transformers (the only series I remember following was Beast Wars, which conveniently came on while I was waiting for the school bus), so I'm inclined to vote for Team Marie.

My feeling is Decepticons will win popularity by a bit, because how many people really liked the bland hero-guys, it's like rooting for Skeletor or Cobra Commander compared to He-Man or GI Joe. Who's cooler?

Well, one of the Europe choices was North Pole or South Pole. So basically Santa vs Not Santa.
And South Pole freakin' won.
Except, as I pointed out, European Santa doesn't live at the North Pole, he lives in Lapland which is somehow an actual place and not a chain of strip clubs.
So it was actually "pointless floating sea ice" vs "mysterious hidden continent" and also polar bears vs penguins.

I dunno about you, but the villains are largely disliked by the kids because the villains are the bad guys: they are mean! How often do you find kids liking characters that are mean?
That said, I still don't think Cobra Commander is cool. Him and Skeletor are clowns at worst, buffoonish bullies at best. They might be entertaining, but entertaining and cool aren't the same thing.
Besides, one side has the Dinobots, and dinosaurs are cool. Therefore Autobots are cool. QED

The 1988 Decepticon toys were the most ink-like colored.

Decepticon will be more popular with older players.
Movie viewers might not know this but in the shows the Decepticons ahve personalities and are interesting.
