I'll sound like a terrible old person, but Thursday night's my night for The Mentalist.
Slowly grappling my way up ranked. Past the halfway point in A-, would be close to breaking out, but had two losses in a row at the end of the night, quite disappointing. Although i think i'm re-dropping this game next Monday, grab Majora's Mask 3D for my birthday.
Why did the new map have to start with Rainmaker. I probably should have spent time exploring the map instead of jumping right in. So many round of teams, on both sides, not knowing where to go.

There's a giant circle of enemy ink on the map! Why do people not get that? I see people do the weirdest stuff like in Blackbelly skatepark they'll literally go around into that little halfpipe with a damn choke point and ledges instead of going near the actual goal that's much more open and easier to get to

I was going to spend the morning on ranked, but i spent my morning playtime on turf wars to get a grasp of the new map. It's got a lot of neat twists and turns.
Lost my A- in a flurry of bad decisions on Flounder Heights, was furious, thankfully had an invitation to a poker game to put me back in a good mood (lost there too, but that's the benefit of lower expectations and friends to chat with).
This shall be my last weekend regularly playing the game, so i have a fairly attainable goal: get that A- back. Or get to A if i hit a good streak.
My only hope is that, as the game goes on, Splatfest polls become increasingly ridiculous, like paddling a swan boat that's missing one eye with an awkward crush versus someone you hate at work getting disciplined, but not fired, for routinely coming in late.

I did the testfire today and was only able to get one match done. Every other match was cut short by an error declaring my internet connection had been lost. I'm hoping it's just an issue with the testfire client and not the real game.

I get disconnected from the matchmaker on the rare occasion, but I've never been disconnected mid-game.
Bargh, i lost a lot of time, just to stay afloat at B+ 70.
My last battle was fairly epic, though. Seized the rainmaker, first shot, rammed straight to their goal. Helped that my team managed to wipe out the first wave of the other guys, only a bit of my skill to evade their last-second attempts to stop me.
And then my attempt to redeem myself lost 20 fucking points due to goddamn network bullshit!
Man, when you play a Charger, you really put your ego on the line. Do well, and you've succeeded at the hardest the game has to offer. Fail, and you're a waste of a team slot.
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.
Depends on the mode. I've been productive as an E-liter custom even when i've been off the aiming game, you play it like a nozzlenose and kill people with the kraken when you're not in a good position to snipe. Then you can at least clean your 400p.
