My entire Friends list either thinks the entire Duggar clan should be shot into the sun or there is some grand conspiracy to make them look bad.

There is no logical middle ground to be found.

Screaming, posting meme's, talking about Bill Clinton, etc.

On the plus side, went fishing for the first time last night. Caught a few (catch and release). Kids had fun.

did you catch an abusive religious fish with 19 spawn and a sycophantic brainwashed wife fish

If I was going to block websites, I'd probably include reddit. There's a lot of porn on there, which is a large part of what most companies are trying to avoid.

I have a cousin who was running some engineering sales meeting and one of his coworkers leaned over 10 minutes before a presentation and showed him some porn gif. He had to fire him on the spot and just started yelling at him. It wasn't because he was offended, it was because it was so stupidly unprofessional that he gave him no choice. That's what they're trying to avoid.

But its really just not worth the effort - just set a policy and fire someone who is looking at porn at work or warn people who are caught looking at borderline material. People work better with short breaks anyway, and you have to trust your workers at some point.

It's still sexual assault and a serious violation. Quibbling about whether rape has to constitute penetration of some sort is not an argument we should really be having. Call it rape-y if you want, but it's still not okay and a serious thing, and rape is a word with gravity

Yep. Before we switched to google for our enterprise mail. All other outside communication was blocked. No IMs, no personal mail, no nothing.

My company has finally come around in the last few years though. Allowing a lot more communication methods. Mostly because customers and businesses started using public stuff like Skype, etc to communicate with us. The guys who travel a lot for us also were getting pissed that they couldn't IM or Skype with their families with their laptops.

It took a while cause our IT director is kind of old fashioned about shit like that.

Scientists say London has the highest concentration of cocaine in sewage of anywhere surveyed in Europe.

The data from the European Union's drug monitoring body found the capital slightly ahead of Amsterdam.

While London comes top for cocaine flushed down the toilet, Amsterdam's drains contain greater amounts of cannabis.

I just take comfort in the fact that me and my wife don't discuss politics. I have to occasionally correct my kids on some of the dumb shit my grandparents tell him ("OBAMA IS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER" coming from the lips of a 7 year old really pissed me off, and I had a few words for my in-laws about spreading their political garbage on my kids), but it could be much worse.

As it is, the family all look out for each other, so the shit that matters is good. Just never start talking politics at the dinner table.

I don't know the attitude about such posts, but since D&D doesnt really have this happen (I think G&T and SE do this alone?). It's not a competition so its not treehousing or anything.

So quick crosspost about G&T. I don't really hang in the steam thread but I do lurk it occasionally, but I make sure to participate in the summer and winter steam sale drives. It's a time of year that when theres gigantic steam sales and everyone is busy scooping up cheap games, a drive is formed to donate to childs play and get things for your local hospital through their amazon list. Previously thousands (5k+) have been raised through these methods. Money/items are directly distributed, no forumers touch your things or money.

TL;DR: Corrigan and a ton of other people put in a lot of work twice a year for childs play charity, to get the forums to donate, so check out how it works and give if you get a moment and have some to spare.

how is this a broad definition of sexual assault

he fondled his sisters' breasts and vaginal areas while they were sleeping without their consent (and possibly their knowledge, at least in the beginning)? That is like, the quintessential definition of sexual assault?

I think there is a misconception brought on by the word "assault" in that people think it has to mean physical harm/battery. This is very untrue.
