So Bethesda killed it for their 1st conference. Hell, it's excellent even compared to the veterans.
Also, the Doom/Dishonored/Fallout amiibos are adorable :_
The best part about the post-show is that even they forgot to mention the terrible looking arena shooter that got like a minute of press between Doom 4 and Dishonored 2.

The less said about that shit, the better.
The worst part is that I could totally get into a game with comic-book style frame animation, blood splatters, and sound effects.
Which makes it so put all those effects in a game that has a completely generic style for all the models!

This Executive Producer sure did read the keywords in the brief on his Videogame
So yeah, before I go to bed (5:30 am here), I'm gonna ask again:
Is there no PA chat room for E3 this year? I'm really missing it. It helped with the hype.

Seriously, I didn't care about a single thing about that game.

Thoughts in real-time:
this shit better be free to play
holy shit this better be free to play
fuck you, you're going to have to pay me to play that shit.

I can't believe that even with cherry picked footage from an arena shooter, literally the first thing they show is a floating camera that reminds everybody melee combat in shooters always looks really stupid and none of the hits actually connect.
This is pretty amusing; NeoGAF made a thread to collect all the "play it now" titles announced this E3 (as in, they're available as soon as they are announced): http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1062953
I had a suspicion this would be a growing trend, and it looks like it'll expand this year.
Poor Microsoft has to follow that, and their track record of conferences has not been stellar.
Eh, they did well last year with Spencer at the helm. Hoping it's a continuation of that.
I think MS's conference will be pretty solid on the games front. But they'll spend too much time talking about the tech side of things like they always do.

MGSV and now this. Ah well, I know which one is less likely to need a Month 1 patch!
Fallout was amazing and pretty much the star of the show.
Dishonored 2 gets me hyped but there wasn't much info.
And I was pretty eh on everything else.
Now imagine the mod possibilities...

or don't yet because HOLY SHIT THE SMARTPHONE PIPBOY
Just kidding, I'm in. But I'm sad about no groin shots and no Android for Fallout Shelter.
Won't fit my phone, I bet. Definitely won't fit my arm.

Last year was better for them, but that's not saying much. And Sony completely rocked it that year too.
